Mag color help

I've been trying to get a fuschia colored mag for about an hour now and I have not been successful. I've made a new character numerous times and recreated and recreated over and over with the 5th costume first and second version for my HUnewearl (which is the purple costume, to match the fuschia) and after that other costumes as well, but with no avail. Is there any way to ensure I'll get a fuschia colored mag by picking a certain costume? Thanks!

Try choosing one of the 4 colorless costumes? I don't know if that works, but maybe those give a random mag color or a random color that isn't one that's associated with a costume.
