1. Pre-ordering actually does support the game and the franchise, more than you may know.
2. SEGA definitely looks at the numbers. Want to make the execs at SEGA think about supporting a series even more? Spike those pre-order numbers, and they will most definitely see it.
3. Personally, yes. I also like cool pre-order bonuses - my Sonic Adventure 2 pre-order set still sits in my room back in my old home.

I'm going to pre-order. It'll be nice to not have to use the wikis for translations every five seconds.
RPG Cliche #189: The Moral Of The Story (Ghaleon Rule): Every problem in the universe can be solved by finding the right long-haired prettyboy and beating the crap out of him.
Amazon typically offers release date delivery on their pre-orders, but the option usually doesn't appear for new or existing orders until they have a firm release date. Release date delivery is free for Prime members, otherwise it is an additional charge.
They usually have Prime trials available, so one easy way to get it on day one for free is to sign up for a free trial of prime (once they offer release day delivery) and upgrade your existing pre-order.
Of course, only time will tell if they are going to offer release day delivery. A prime trial could still be used to get free 2-day shipping, though.
I'll wait and see if there's a pre-order bonus a little bit down the line. Am gonna pre-order whether there is or not. But financially, I can't at the moment. So I will have to wait a while before I do. Good news, though.

I would pre-order, but there's a problem. I don't have a PSP, and I can't afford one at the moment. Also, I don't want to get the game early if I won't have the system till later.
