Which Force to use?

You know, technically the most efficient Melee FO would be a FOmarl...I wonder if someone could test the damage a FOmarl with a full power mag and Clairs would do in comparison to a FOnewm/newearl with a full power mag and a Gigas...

I wonder how well an ATP build would do.
FOmarls can also use Crimson Vis and Emperor Axeons.

An ATP build works decently on my FOnewearl so it should be even better on a FOmarl. Especially considering they have a better selection of ranged weapons to make areas with weakness to Ranger weapons easier to clear (in fact, a full power FOmarl with 3rd tier shifta and zalure will most likely do more damage with ATP than the human rangers and possibly even the cast ones)

I don't see why you would want to ATP-build a force. If you need to attack from a distance, that's what your techniques and slicers are for.

Versatility.
You can exploit elemental, ranged, and melee weaknesses depending on the situation.
Your techs won't be as strong but you can adapt to any area.
You still get the resta boost and the mat increase.

The way I see it, you can already exploit melee weaknesses with things like Magical Sign.
The one monster that really resists melee (Vespao) you can deal with just fine with a couple Foies.

Not everyone likes spamming magical sign.
It's just preference.
