Gotta love those bigger critters that show up to ruin your day. My hints for Astarks specifically, always try to circle behind them. If you're in their front arc, be prepared to block or dodge; block if you aren't good at timing your dodges yet.
As for me, I get similar trouble going up to A missions. It's always that Svaltia that flies up from offscreen that takes me down. XP

I ended up pulling my usual despawn lure trick. I.e. find the point where they despawn, lure them towards it while shooting at them, and watch them ppoof right before they get in range of you. Still have ot worry about their lightning attack, but it's not hard to dodge.

Yeah, as a hunter with no ranged weapons [at least not right now...] I don't have that luxury. At least not as much as you would.

I rarely do melee weapons, especially not in the case of bosses. I'm just naturally a ranger first, maybe a force; hunter just doesn't cut it for me. ^.^;;

Rushed through Part 3 and a bunch of Open missions that I got afterwards on the lowest rank.
Where can I get more dual sabers? I need some that aren't Earth element.

I'm using a 4* pair I got back in an open mission, but have yet to see anything better drop even while grinding in the next rank.
That database is still missing some info. I'll have to sign up and input my own.
Depends, you just have to check specific missions for their drops. We're still working on getting every weapon's drop info with their according page. It's not that easy, you know.
