I think i'm on the 30th(?) floor... I haven't really been keeping track of how many, but I've battled 2 of the Mothers so far...

just to let you know if you click on your map on the bottom screen, it will pull up a bigger map and you can see what floor of the ET your on

Actually, that's happened to me and a lot of other people in the past, your litttle problem. To put it simply as far as a solution goes, just go back to the side of the room you started out on (southest area on the minimap), and then walk straight forward upwards to the center of the room, and just keep walking until the mother actually appears. This generally happens when people don't just walk straight when they come into a mother's room, and they never think to just walk straight ahead and that'll solve it. : /

no problem man the first time i did the tower... i thought it was a glich cause it was the same thing over and over and over... so i quit and later found out it was how it was supposed to be *face palm*

So, finally I completed the normal ET in a progress of two days (sleep mode used for sleep, and rest) beginning with level 36 and ending with 43. While being a big satisfaction, it was also very long...

To try Hard ET, if you ca tell me, how strong do I have be to clear it in less time (with party characters)?

I started Hard ET with a level ~30 most of my times through for unlocking SH, and turned out pretty well for the most part. I'd say with you at over 40, you have nothing to really worry about until MAYBE around the 70+ floors, when enemies are actually stronger than the enemies everywhere else in Hard mode (in case you didn't know, up until floor 60, all the enemies are weaker than their counterparts outside the Eternal Tower in that respective difficulty; floors 61-70 are at regular difficulty power, and 71+ are more powerful than their counterparts). Just don't get cocky, and make sure you'll KNOW you'll survive the next hit thrown at you. Don't "expect" to survive, and then get hit by an enemy crit and faceplant... that's all I gotta say. <.<

And if you are doing it JUST to get SH mode.... skip 50% of the floors, not all of them do the mobs have to be cleared, you can just run to the next room without killing anything (makes it doable in half the time)
