Anti Piracy?
Ive been reading some stuff about ps Zero
having some anti piracy guard that affects drops.
I play on an r4 *shock horror GASP*
Ive just completed offline on normal.
Ive come across no rares, no discs, and the chests seem to give out 95% healing items.
Is this normal?
And does anyone know if there's any truth in the rumor?
Any advice would be much appertiated.

Yep, droprates were nerfed as an anti-piracy measure, and it was pretty clever of Sega to think of hitting them where it's least noticeable overall while also hurting the most for some people. I'm more than willing to bet anyone who played a pirated version with the nerfed droprates quickly quit the game, leaving the rest of us who either played it normally, or those got over the **** drops and enjoyed the game.
So, to answer your question, yes, there is indeed truth in this rumor of droprate-drop on pirated copies... at least until you get the patch that fixes that and the inability to play with anyone online (I bet you didn't even notice that anti-piracy measure yet, have you?).

It wouldn't surprise me, i remember pso on DC and xbox years ago, if you ever touched a hacked item, chances are youd never see a red box ever again.

how do you get pirated versions of games that never came out for the PC?... Well, ok I guess you could burn them on discs, but how do you do that with ds games?

you'd be surprised how many zero players are playing on pirated versions.
No problem now, I patched it up took me all bloody day.
The drop rates are really noticeable, holy crap. Ive found 3 red boxes since and more weapons in 2 hours than i had my whole game.
(Y) You cant buy this game new anymore, so buying it wouldnt actually contribute to sega anyway, so =P
lol thats exactly what i did with my halo 1 copy. Now that you cant buy it and have any money go to the creating company, i downloaded the entire copy for free.
..with working multiplayer and all

Once you patch it it kicks total ass though.
I have a **** tonne of rares.
But you still lack many friends to play with, until you buy the game legally.
