personally i dont see a problem with it as you have clearly shown you didnt mess with your stats
the fact it doesnt let you change your name like zero did is a step backwards IMO

Huh, that's all? I thought you made it colourful, but you just added a last name. That's completely fine. Hell, a few months after starting a character I always end up coming up with a better name and wanting to change it. That you found a way to do it and did it is awesome.
I wouldn't worry about it since you found a way to change your name. However, the reason your getting harassed about it is you asked someone to use a cheat to change your name .As long as it doesn't affect anyone else or make drops/leveling easier then you should just ignore it.
