Oh, right, I need to give an explanation of what Tia did.

I'm pretty sure you all know what a mirage is, yes? What Tia did with the flames is the same concept, but a notch more dangerous.

Mirages work like this: the heat is so intense that light rays actually bend when in contact with the heat. The exact heat? I dunno. Tia basically did that with her flames at an extreme temperature. While she can't be seen, detection is very easy as it's burning flames on her body, so there's an obvious heat source, and with that heat source coming into contact with stuff you're gonna get physical evidence and noise.

She also got burned in the process, but not to inhibiting degrees. I'm assuming future tech can reduce the damage a fire hazard can do to someone way more effectively than today. A bit of a stretch, if I may say so myself.

I was wondering about that, actually. Thanks for the explanation. A very interesting application of real world phenomenon.

Anyway, I certainly hope gravity is still accepted as a norm.....I don't want to suddenly float off into the upper atmosphere, thanks.

I Don't mind that, Garon. I have one or two people calling me that.

@Wayu: they have technology currently for water resistant clothing, I'm sure they'd develop fire resistant clothes in the future.

Anyway, gonna try and give people who would want to be a part of that Gauntlet fight the time to get in.....anyone else who isn't involved that may want to be??
