Well Yuri, Drakes were here LOOONNNGGG before Magic:The Gathering
A Fire Drake was what killed Beowulf, and that epic is older than Magic Besides, TSR (makers of AD&D) and fantasy novels had drakes way before magic the gathering. So drakes originated from earlier folk myths, not Magic the Gathering

Most of what Xaken said is correct... but... my type-A RAcaseal raised a Mag with Pow = Dex > Mind, and it turned into a Bhirava, not a Kama. There may be other factors to consider - the character's subclass, which particular attributes are highest, and so on - or maybe the list is just slightly inaccurate.
