There was supposed to be some sort of announcement near the end of the month on the details of the Beta test, right? If it's not "JP-only" again, I wonder if there'd be an easier way to sign up according to region, so we don't have to go through all these moonrunes and regional IP stuff...

No, I used gmail and I know people who used hotmail with no issues either. You do need to have your browser with JP support though (I use chrome and have JP installed) or it'll IP block you.

I signed up to the newsletter with mozilla about two hours ago, only problem I had was it wouldn't accept my name in two separate categories so I combined the first and last name and printed it in four spaces (worked like a charm).

I actually have a legit address in JPN but it wouldn't accept it until I wrote it out in katakana.

You gotta try different addresses and katakana methods.

Some have an easy time making one when Alpha 2 sign-ups were here and other's (like me) had to try so many things to get it to submit and have it accept.

Keep trying.
