my lock on is broken?

So i got a new computer and when i press q to lock on it doesnt work. It shows the little thing on the monster and shoots at it but when i walk backwards my char shoots in that direction instead of continuously facing the monster and shooting thw locked on part. It worked perfectly on the other computer.anyone know whats wrong? Help

Try setting everything to default in the options.
