We start English official site at http://www.pso2.com/ .

I am so glad to show information of global service for English-speaking fans because I know there are lot of questions about the Western release date.

First we set a facebook for Phantasy Star Online 2 for Japan fans. but This facebook will be global fan's facebook. It was surprise for us that so many other country fans joined our site. Now fans gave us 14,299 likes. I felt so sorry for not fluent English comment for long while, but now I am happy that give you English information from Sega of America.

On the other hand, sorry for Japanse facebook funs. This facebook will be Enlish page. We will show Japan's information for official mixi page.
    Please follow http://p.mixi.jp/sega_pso2

I belive that colleagues in Sega of America will be make a more great page. Thank you so much to read my comment and thank you to everyone for your support. Bonko

I'm still wondering if that means linked servers or not... it's no different then announcing an international version of a game and still have segregated content....

I think it's just been badly translated. I wouldn't hold out for actual global servers.
Looking forward to an answer on when/if we'll get english language option for JP client though.

At least they acknowledge the strong demand for PSO2 outside of Japan. Maybe they won't screw it up this time for the international release.

The facebook page seems like crap. They make a couple scattered announcements, but they never actually respond to anyone. It would be nice if they at least wrote "we're considering several options at the moment, thanks for your input".

Japan is not part of globe. Japan is a transdimensional construct that intersects with our plain of existence through the will of Kami.

I'll stick to the Japanese version. At least will be an incentive to learn Japanese. Besides the lag on content updates will be annoying
