Depending on what you do primarily will matter for this choice.
The 2nd one has a better CPU and GPU by a nice margin but choice 1 is not bad by itself.
Ultimately if you call yourself a "Gamer" and tend to play higher end games I would go for choice 2. If not and PSO2 is about all you do, save yourself some cash and go for choice 1.
Really, if you go with choice one and it doesn't work out after a year for some newer games, you can always easily replace the CPU and GPU and the price would be right around the same anyway.

Hey, my current pc is dying and i am looking for a LONG TERM solution. The pc will be used primarly for gaming and college work. I would like the system to play games such as Pso2, Skyrim and Battlefield 3 on high graphic settings. I have a budget of £800.00 to spend on the pc but if there is another system for a little more with a big permormance boost i could probobly strech my budget.
I've done some searching and found this pc -But, it seems quite cheap compared to some others on the site, so is there some potential problem i am not seeing?Spoiler!
Also, if anyone would like to help me search, it would be great if a UK website or store is used due to cheaper shipping ect. Some website i know of are:
Spoiler!
I do know that the Scan and Cyberpower websites allow you to choose custom parts, but i'm no expert on parts and i tend to go way over my budget when selecting.
- Thank you in advance
That PC is just fine. I7 + 660Ti will run basically any game at/near max.
Good luck! Let us know how it works out.

Thank you, the advice is much appreciated. One more question, can this pc be upgraded? Or is this not an option?
Yep, should you need (in a year or two) a new higher powered GPU (for graphics) it should literally be plug and play. When that time comes, chances are Ill still be here to help out. (Unless I die in a motorcycle/car crash or something)

Thanks you've been a great help. Just don't die anytime soon
Can anyone recommend a half-decent cpu heatsink/fan for under $50? I have an AMD Phenom II X4 965 (no overclocking) and the stock fan can barely keep it at 60°C under a full load (idles around 42°C) and sounds like a small vacuum once it hits 52°C. I was looking around and found this one, but I wanted to see if anyone could recommend a better one. I have an ATX full tower, so height clearance isn't really an issue, but I use this motherboard, so I'm a bit concerned about it interfering with my memory slots.

I have seen that cooler, ultimately it is not that large(So it should fit)
In the off chance that it won't, newegg lets you return things...
You could try something like the H50 from Corsair. Self contained water cooling. It does work for AMD if you have the right bracket. Nearly silent as well.
