In the off chance that it won't, newegg lets you return things...

You could try something like the H50 from Corsair. Self contained water cooling. It does work for AMD if you have the right bracket. Nearly silent as well.
I should note that this was $59.99 last time I checked newegg... (10 over budget)

Thank you, you've alleviated my concerns. I'll save myself the $30 and go with the Arctic cooler for now, but I'll keep the Corsair (checking newegg, it looks like I can request a free AMD bracket from them directly) in mind for when I have a bit more money to work with. I am currently collecting my used parts for a second rig, so getting both is an investment in the long run.

Almost all of the time, if the cooler fits your CPU the motherboard manufacturers accounted for some fairly large CPU coolers. Not only that, CPU coolers tend to 'float' an inch or two over the board anyway.

Did a little further research, and it looks like if I install the Arctic cooler as it comes (with the fan pushing air through the fins, out the back of the case), I will lose one memory slot since I'm using four of these (if it weren't for the heatsinks on the sticks, it would fit right). Since the fan can be taken off and replaced, it looks like I could just flip the fan to pull air out, but I'm worried about how that will effect the heat dissipation. Thoughts?

It turns out the Zoostorm i was going to buy is out of stock, so i have decided to make my first build. I have selected the parts i wish to use and it would be helpful if you can double check their compatability. Also, would i need to purchase any cables or will they come with the parts?

    Here are the parts:

    Spoiler!

    - Thanks.

Generally the cables that are necessary come with the parts. Key thing to check- Socket type of the mobo matches the CPU

Yeah i checked that it is all fine. Im not really looking forward to connecting and re-routing the cables though, but i guess thats one of the ''fun'' parts of the build i get to look forward too.

    -Thanks for the help again.

The main goal is to route as much cable behind the case as you can. The plate the mobo bolts to has a compartment behind that, that is for cables. *Most cases*

The less cabling you have showing, the more airflow = cooler.

I have about a 700-800 USD budget. I was wondering how much bang for my buck I can get, and efficiently run PSO2(among other games).

So the cheap build that Nuclearranger posted back in 2011 is all but discontinued(the HDD and Disk drive are all newegg has left). So I decided to see if I could find some replacement parts on newegg for the discontinued ones, and I would like to know if they meet specs. While I'm not building this rig myself, I thought it might be nice to keep an updated cheap option around.
