How would he be sued? Maybe someone could find him and ask politely to use what he's done as the base to get it done oneself. It's a shame he and others have been burned like they have.

This would be nothing but a text edit right? converting all the text just into English. I don't think that would involve overwriting any security features.
He had to bypass it to get it working, and he did say that he would have to rewrite the coding to get it to work. As it is now, the game could freeze and corrupt.

Lol that's now what happened. Coldbird and his team had an almost fully functional cfw for the vita, only a few problems here and there, and they decided not to release it because of reasons like the Vita needs time to develop etc.
Then some asshole beta tester releases it.
