It's called "White's Territory" in-game.... in English. It's also what the area's JP name translates to.
The EN patch translators should do a better job next time.
"Shironia" is not even a translation... it's just something the dumb people at psumods made up.
Then the translation is fine.
Shiro = white
-nia = denotes a country or territory.
White Country/Territory.
Localization gets a bad rap (I'm looking at you 4Kids), but it's sometimes a good approach to translating. As a choice between "White's Territory" and "Shironia," I'd say the the translators made a good call. Of course, on the other side of things, you have crap like "Final Nemesis" so, eh.
Pretty much that.
The area isn't even called White Territory, or Shironia, or Harkotan. It's called 白ノ領域.
Anything else is "wrong", so saying a translated name is wrong compared to another translated name is silly.
