So is it weird to say that Ultimate is fun?

*Hope, a guaranteed way to experience disappointment.
It's fun when people just ran it instead of everything being locked party telepipe fest filled with whiny JPs
It was fun seeing people die to grandilga/diabo combo, people actually considering tanky builds or freeze FO etc. instead of lazily walking in with w/e then pray for an Anga drop to become "good at the game".
Upcoming Ults will break the bad habits I think. This was Sega just testing the waters
Because people are elitists. Sacrifice all fun in an effort to show off how "good they are" by having gear with bigger numbers.
I will run it every once in a while or sometimes when I have 250 booster duration remaining after an EQ. I wouldnt waste my life on something so boring and hopeless though.
Its so easy for any game company to manipulate people. Simply create gear that outclass all the previous stuff, set drop rates to near zero, then watch everybody flock there to try to get it. Some tryhard kids will hunt for the stuff 24 hours a day, reminds me of those old men on ventilators I see at the casino, puffing away, eyes glazed over while brainlessly playing the slots.
Yeah they really messed up with the 13* all on one boss. What did they think would happen? When you make the 13* outclass everything, nobody cares for the 12* area drops. I feel really sad for Diabo. Every time someone sees him, all 12/12 people abandon quest/telepipe.

People got better at the game, that's why tanky strategies aren't considered viable anymore. Anga farming isn't any different from farming anything else, don't see what's lazy or unskilled about it. If anything, players farming Anga are more likely to be skilled because they have a better understanding of the advantage of having better equipment, and thus consider it worth the trouble. Most people that lack skill can't even be assed to get non trade-in gear.
And bad habits? What bad habits? Not needing tanky builds or freeze? Those sound like bad habits to me, being too lazy to dodge. Playing UQs for Anga only? That's a perfectly valid way to play, there's no bad habit there. It's the only thing that has valuable drops, so the only reason to play UQs is either Anga or fun. Disliking something doesn't make it bad.
Elitist are people that condemn other people for not playing the game the way they believe is best or most acceptable. That's exactly what you're doing, and exactly what people farming UQs aren't doing. There is nothing more or less valid about how they're spending their time compared to how you're spending your time in-game. You don't like that they're beating up Magatsu in ~30 seconds? That doesn't mean they're playing the game wrong, and I've certainly never seen anyone besides a troll mock people for not being able to do so. You don't like that they run UQs specifically for fighting Anga and nothing else? It's the most efficient way to get a 13*, if you don't have the same priorities that's fine, but don't mock people for wanting to be equipped well. It's no different from mocking people for trying to be fashionable, or RPing, or any conceivable way of spending time in the game. Making fun of any of that, and saying it's the wrong way to do things, and making derogatory remarks to people that do these things, is exactly what an elitist does. You are the elitist here.
Actually XH and UQs were released at the same time, which is just inexplicable. Guess UQs have the excuse of being a new quest type entirely.
What's the point of running UQ's if every party is locked and no one joins the ones I make
