I love to be marth and sometimes try out roy, from my experience of me fighing asboth and facing off with my friend who plays roy,I always do better with marth,he is faster, jumps better, his shield breaker, while not a 1 Hit ko,is still very strong, takes less time to charge, and can swing faster than any other sword move.I have tested this, when you let go of B it swings fast,I have only been able to once pause on the blade while still swinging, and marth is just plain better!

Personally, I like Roy. His UP+B is slower (more damage and it's more controllable, and instead of going practically straight up, you can sacrifice height for distance by tapping either direction really quick after performing up+b. Good for running or getting back from farther places. So far, I have yet to see Marth do that. Roy and Marth are the same speed, while running that is. Marth's attacks are faster, but Roy's are a bit stronger. I always choose speed over power if given the chance (in any game), but you can't have TOO little power. I think Roy is a perfect balance between speed and power. And for whoever said they use Young Link, go you! I used to play as both Links before I tried out Roy.

So, my vote goes towards Roy.

Roy's our boy! Roy's our boy!

Roy because he's stronger and his attacks all have fire... and I like fire... Marth is good, but not as good as Roy
