How do I install the Eng Patch with Tweaker

I HATE Tweaker, it is a clusterf*ck of errors, I sadly lost the directory it sent me to when trying to look for a patch and now it looks for a patch on my desktop which it cannot open there, and even so the directory it sent me to I could not drag and drop anything there. How in the hell do you get the english patch to work with tweaker NO ONE wants to help me in many boards NOBODY knows!

You can always download the patch from the usual place, then select "yes" when the Tweaker asks if you want to use a predownloaded rar and select it where you have it saved; if it doesn't prompt that, go into Options and change your Predownloaded RAR Preference. Alternatively, you can install the EN patch the way you did before the need for the Tweaker and then in the Options go to "Override EN version" to let it know that it is already installed.

Hi sorry to hijack the thread but im having a similar issue so figured id post here:

Having a small issue with the tweaker. Googled for 2 days now and cant find a solution so here i am...

Everything installs fine, English patch, the story patch. Updates the works. Only one not installing is the Large English files. i get the following

Current Large Files version is: Not Updated
ERROR - Requested clipboard operation did not succeed

I have the tweaker in the bin folder as i read somewhere this helps eliminate issues with the tweaker but that hasnt helped either

Whats the difference between story patch and large files patch?

I cant figure this out and its driving me insane :s

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this.

Finally managed to get around this. I manually downloaded the update file for large files and replaced in the folder. Then ran the transam update and it worked fine.
