has anyone tried the Novel Tact yet? 3% dmg and 20% Crit increase seems wonderful but ehh not sure how good it is in the long run
EDIT: nevermind about the Tact, while its too late that I bought it (but didnt grind it yet) that its pretty bad despite the extra crit added. pretty disappointing
I feel like a crit strike tech ring and support rolls would be enough for a good crit rate with Su/Ph, so yeah, the tact is pretty meh.
Ya im doing that already and figured the new tact would help it way more but its not enough.
Have you tried the new parfaits already? I think one is 10% crit dmg increase and the Exquisite one is 10% dmg, 25% pp increase, convert a % of def into dmg which sounds really good for Melon
The Crit one is 10% crit dmg increase + either enhancing Shifta Sympathy crit effect (Google says "Enhances the sympathetic effect of the shifter." , but as the Parfait is about crit damage, I guess it is the crit part that is enhanced).
Don't know on which pet I could use it tho...
On another note, do you guys know if Rykros Megid still is affected by Phantom's Tech Short Charge skill ?
The shifta thing on the crit one is probably the same as the support rolls, so it's mostly for the 4% extra def and 10% crit. They only get 1% more atk. I have it on Redran, but I'm going to get another one for Jinga. It seems like it'll be good in general for Su/Ph if you don't have anything specific you want to use.
I'm not really fond of the increased PP cost, but yeah, that one works well on Melon.
Ive been hesistant to turn my Wanda i to Jinga despite the range buff she got on some of her attacks. I did hatch the egg and tried out the PAs to see if its worth doing so but i dont see like a big enough jump to consider using Jinga still over Wanda with higher Def and survivalbility.
I guess what im saying, pros and cons with Wanda vs Jinga since the buff? I just dont see a reason to jump off the pre evo train
I personally recommend having both either way, just in case, but Jinga's def and hp is still high enough for UH, especially with support rolls, even before the buffs. The buffs just made the PAs better overall. The main reason the unevolved pets were better was because the atk increase was barely noticeable compared to the def loss, but they had higher costs on their PAs anyway. Also, in Jinga's case, its improved PA didn't really matter. Now that most of the PAs were improved or had their costs lowered it's a lot more worth it. Especially the AoE increases on Slicer and Shock.
Aero still feels worse than Torim though because it NEEDS that extra def to not die while using spiral most of the time, but I barely use either of them nowadays, with how good the melon/maron+synchro combo is for single target dps. Popple is just flat out better than Cery as an actual pet, but I still use Cery for PP recovery sometimes.
EDIT: So I just did some checking, and several of the evolved pet PAs that had pp cost reductions but no other changes are actually CHEAPER than their un evolved counterparts. For Jinga this is a pretty big deal because pp efficiency is important for mobbing.
