I've only played offline, and I've completed all of episode 2 (on normal anyways ) and I was just wondering whats with all the areas of the ship that have locked doors??

I'm offline only for now also, but I think one of them is for Gallon's Shop Quest (not so much of a quest, but its at the Hunter's Guild Quest List).

The door opposite to the guild counter is for the warp back to the lobby and the other ones are used in quests for various different things.

Amusingly enough, if you play multimode in Ep2, the door to where the lobby teleporter would be is unlocked. Much like the wall around where it would be in ep1 isn't there in Multimode on Ep1. It serves no purpose whatsoever since obviously offline you don't -have- a lobby to go to, and there isn't a teleporter, but it's vaguely interesting in a trivia-collecting sort of manner.

the one next to the guild counter is kinda like a meting room and the one next to that has transporters to gallons shop n the warehouse n stuff. u use it in online quests

In multi offline, theres one room you still cannot enter. ahh well, nothing really special bout exploring a room on a ship, haha!
