Well Death seems to be the topic of the week for me, so I've bestowed upon yee all another mind-tugging thread.
Do you believe in life after death?

We're pretty much discussing this and a whole range of other similar things in another topic dude. Pretty much...exactly.
duh of course.
Do you mean the other thread I made before this? "Do you fear death?"?On 2003-10-17 12:37, Kizaragu wrote:

Ah! There it is!
You believe Wendy's is greater then McDonald's too!
no. you only get one life. live it to your fullest
You cease to exist after death. My opinion. And no "former life" stuff or anything like that.

Awwww...I wanted to be part of a Great White shark.
I've never died, so I can't say for certain one way or another.
But. As anti-religion as I am, and as anti-bullshit as I am, I still find that I believe in some really silly things, like love, or UFOs, or things like that. I just can't believe that things just completely cease to exist when they die. That all their potential and memories and personalities just disappear... Maybe there isn't anything, and maybe there is. But, it's... Comforting... To think that there really is something, that maybe someday you'll see the people you've lost again...
And then, it's so hard to believe that that could even be possible. You can be dead while living... Something happens, and then even though they're still there in the world, someone you knew is no longer that same person.
I don't know. It's one of those things I can't believe one way or the other. I suppose I choose to believe in the potential of an 'afterlife', even though I may not directly believe in one.
