EP3-Battle: Beginning Dice Rolls

Are there ever ties in the first dice roll to determine who goes first? If so, what does the game do as a tiebreaker?

Never seen any tie breaks. I think it would just make sure they weren't equal and then go to the next random number that comes up.

it will NEVER be equal rolls. Something about the game will never have it tie
