This may have already been said, but there's a lot for me to wade through to actually check on such, and typing in 'section ID' in the 'search' box brings up every single topic in this particular forum (you know, cuz, it's like, part of the forum title .
They appearently changed how your Section ID is generated at creation. It's no longer based entirely off your name and the letters used, but is now dependant on your class as well. Which actually isn't so hard to figure out:
AFAIK, since I haven't the patience to try out EVERY class, you can use Miyuu's Section ID FAQ and count the class that you've picked as a digit to be added to the total number. Anyhow, here are the additions-
HUmar = 5
HUmarwearl = 6
HUcast = 7
HUcaseal = 4
RAmar = 8
RAmarl = 6
RAcast = 9
RAcaseal = 0
(I'm guessing on the FO, using the current pattern)
FOmar = 5
FOmarl = 1
FOnewm = 2
FOnewearl = 3
The pattern is essentually Old HU (5, 6, 7), Old RA (8, 9, 0), Old FO (1, 2, 3), New HU (4), New FO (5), New RA (6).
So, if you're intent on making a character that has particular Section ID, you can use the Section ID Calculator to find out what your GC/XBox ID would have been, then use Miyuu's FAQ to add your class's number in, to find out what your final PSOBB ID will be.
Alternatively, you can find a letter in the faq that has the same value as your class, and put that into the calculator along with your actual name. ie, if I wanted to find out what 'Broken' would be, who's a RAmarl (6), I'd use a $, since $ = 6, and enter in '$Broken'.. Which should, and does, give me Pinkal.
Keep in mind PSO treats caps as different values than lower cased letters.
So anyway, at the risk of saying what has likely and prolly already been said, there's how the new PSOBB ID's have been changed at creation.
