PSOBB:Mag weirdness? HELP

Me and a buddy were trying to raise a rati on PSOBB, im a pinkil Fonewerl, hes a Greenil Ramar.

At L10, it became a Kalki like normal, but at L35 it didnt change into the right mag, Tapas, but a namuchi.. so i took it back off of him to raise myself, and at L55 it became a Naka, so i was pissed cuz it didnt seem to be going as planned, then at L58 it becomes a Kaitbha, which dosnt make sense, how could it change? so he takes it back, raises it to L60, where it becomes a Kama... how it keeps changing is beyond me... so I take it, and at L62 it just became a Kumara, and learned a new photon blast... i learned one just at L50

im so confused, not im stuck with an ugly clam mag, and dont ever think it will be a rati, does a rati only depend on stats? and the chr who lvls it at 99->100? cuz it will have 22+27=0+50

getting a rati depends only on these things:
mag's stats
character's id
character's class

I can't remember which way it worked though, but i think it has to be a male hunter skyly with some other IDs...

ok, now at Lvl65, it has changed into a kabana!!! what is wrong with this mag? is it stoned?? ive been raising MIND only on it..

If you change a Mag's feeding habits, it will change after a while. For example, raising power solidly, then switching to dex for a couple of levels tends to make your mag change. Switching the mag between characters does that too, once a different character has fed it.

For the level 35 evolution, it stayed a RA evolution because the level 35 evo is dependant on the L10 one. The L50 evolution is independand though.
