How is Katana Gear Boost? I Tried it in Kuron and had my gear active for the entire 1000pts of the quest. seems pretty good but not sure it's worth the 5pt investment. In overall the skill is just a Katana Gear management or something like that. The PP regain also seems low since I barely noticed it.
I also experimented with Katana Gear Boost; I had put 5 SPs on it in an extra Br skill tree before checking it out and like what you had noticed, I can pretty much maintain the blue aura indefinitely if I wanted to. That being said, however, I don't think Katana Gear Boost is a at all necessary; I'd say 1 SP is enough (if you even invest in it at all). Personally, I'm sticking to the Br tree that doesn't have any SP invested into the skill; I would rather have those points remain on the bow side of the tree.
You still go with S-Atk. Bow gets a large amount of damage just from activating Rapid Shoot.
Haven't tested this yet, but two questions about the new katana gear skill:
1: Is that natural PP regen, or from normal attacks, or both?
2: Is that an additive 150% regen speed (eg 1 -> 2.5), or is that a multiplicative 150% (eg 1 -> 1.5)?
edit: I assume the charge parry hunter skill really does only work for hunter weapon charge PAs, or did they overlook that supposed limitation when coding it so katanas could use it too?
