Well, you can always set them to a shortcut; example, make your shortcut 1 be "/sr r/burnguard" to switch to Fire.

Eh sorry but what is the actual command..

what I can think of would be opening the shortcut menu under options but I see nothing much there.

other ways I can think of would be at the class counter

You can check under Shortcuts>Use Shortcut Words in Keyboard Settings; for me, shortcut 1 is Ctrl+num pad 1, but it is possible that you have it set to something else.

The only way to change rings outside of manually doing it from the Armor option is to use the skill ring chat command, "/sr (ring name without spaces)," so "/sr r/burnguard" for fire, "/sr r/freezeguard" for ice, etc, and if you have those set to shortcuts then it is just a matter of one or two button presses.

If you are using the Item Translation, then it has to be in English. and just /sr, no #.
With my settings, I would have shortcut word 1 set as "/sr r/burnguard", shortcut word 2 as "/sr r/freezeguard", etc. so when I hit Crtl+Numpad 1 it would switch to the R/Burn Guard ring, and when I hit Crtl+Numpad 2 it would switch to the R/Freeze Guard ring, etc.

Unless you also have the /mpal chat command in the same shortcut as the ring change command, then the only way that could happen is if somehow you have Use Shortcut Words and Switch Palette as the same keys.
