Just found out about this PSV game releasing soon. Guys, this is way too much like PSO2. Watch and agree with me.



Jump actions, mid-air battle? The heal item is consumed by drinking it? You could even daresay PSO2 is shaping up to be a cloen of this game! D: (Naw.)

I have been following Ragnarok Oddyssey since before the Vita launch in Japan and it still looks like one of the most fun games for it. I love colorful games!

I still hope it will be localised in english.
A demo came out in Japan some days ago and it was downloaded more than 100.000 times which is certainly good.

Apparently it will not include an online mode from the get-go; instead, that feature will be added in later on. That probably is no problem in Japan, but when importing you will probably not find a lot of peeps to play with. But that only is an issue if the update takes long to be realized. Either way, localisation would be neat.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
My interest in the game skyrocketed when I read that they would release a patch in the future to add online mode.
It will be awsome if they release it over here! A guy can dream...

I tried the demo and wasn't very impressed. There's more of gravy than of grave Monster Hunter than Phantasy Star in it. It looks nice though.

EDIT: I'm totally burnt out of Monster Hunter type games, that's why I'm not impressed.

Reminds me of Soma Bringer mixed with what I'd think PSZ would end up looking like on the 3DS with slightly enhanced PSO2 influenced gameplay.

Or you could just say it's like any other action RPG where you make your own character.

Looks like multiplayer could be fun on it(does it have multiplayer?) but it's not on the list of games making me think "I WANT A VITA FOR THIS!"

'Bout time they announced it. Really, this kind of game is seriously needed on the platform. Glad they finally are going ahead with it. Hopefully it wont take them too long to localize it.

Too bad we don't have a solid release date. Its one of the games I really want.
