The fact that the Torim egg drops are about four times higher then the any of Slave or Ares weapon drops in Lillipa UQ makes me mildly hopeful that getting one might not be too terrible of a grind.

The only source of attack power that doesn't boost pet damage is your weapon, so yes.

It's because it's a one time cast PA, once Malon(or was it Maron) explodes, it becomes incapacitated, but does a huge amount of damage.
