Been trying to get game running for days, finally give in to defeat lol

I've read up on things, installed game and run all the updates with tweaker and changed the proxy like it says to but when i click to launch game a window appears for pso2 but is just black and freezes, i've been trying for days to sort it out lol i finally give up =(

Black screen mostly happens if you have incomplete or incompatible files in your PSO2 setup i.e(JP enemies/trials, English Translation, Large Files incompatibilities.)

I suggest checking for Old/Missing Files in PSO2Tweaker's Menu->Troubleshooting->Check for Old/Missing Files.
this mostly fixes my problems if I encounter the Void of Death.

Same, if not similar problem here. I still need to try checking for old/missing files, but if that doesn't work then I'll let you know what does for me.
Just need a few days, barely any time between school and work.

Click on "check for pso2 updates" to do a full file check and see if that fixes it, also make sure video drivers for your video card is up to date.

Alright, got it working after 2 things
Troubleshooting and downloading the missing files after the quick scan, and using a tweaker with all Compatible patch files. Opposite order though.

What is your pc specs?

my computer has:

windows 7

16GB ram

3.4ghz processor

amd raedeon 7700 graphics card

that's already WAAAAAYY pass the minimum specs, you shouldn't have any problem playing PSO2 with that rig, only other thing I can think off that causes Black Screens is the patch, using outdated or incompatible patches like English Patch, Large Files Patch, Story Patch, etc..., if you're using outdated patches try installing the latest version of them.
