Unlinking your Playstation account from your SEGA ID - A template just for you!

Recently I've just gone through this process because I wanted to switch to a different Playstation account. I figured this is actually something a lot of people here might need so I'm posting it here for anyone who wants to bank it just in case for use later or maybe they need it now, I don't know. I'm just being helpful.

Here it is. I made it as general as possible so it pretty much could apply to anyone. It is in native-level-fluent Japanese.

I am contacting you because I am trying to un-link my current Playstation account from my SEGA ID. I have recently changed my main Playstation account and it prevents me from playing PSO2 on my VITA because my SEGA ID is linked to my old Playstation account. Is it possible to detatch my SEGA ID from the currently linked Playstation account so that I may link my SEGA ID to the new one? Thank you for any help you can provide me.

Do also list that if IP is found to not be inside of Japan, they will not follow through with this.

Well I don't really have proof of this, and at the same time how do they find out your IP from a ticket?

Yep, they'll look at the IP from the ticket, and if it's not of JP. They just flat out deny you.

Yep, they'll look at the IP from the ticket, and if it's not of JP. They just flat out deny you.

Where did you see the above spoiler-box'd text? All it says is a canned "we only intend for pso2 to be played here in japan" type of thing, is that a response you received when attempting to un-link an account yourself?

I would love to see if with a vpn this would work.

At the same time I already tried to request them to unlink my account, so they may still have my previous information and dont do it anyways XP

That's the only email reply I mostly got lead up to that.

Maybe I been requesting it wrongly, or something, but others might have success with it.

I successfully de-linked my PSN/Sega ID accounts a while back, so it CAN be done. I'm located in Canada, and didn't use a VPN or anything.

That's not to say they'll do it for everyone, though.
