Default Tips/small things people often overlook

Hold down X for auto item pickup
You can instantly cancel a PA you've already charged by releasing the PA key while holding down X

L shoulder + Start = opens up usable items inventory

R shoulder + Start = opens up equip inventory

Touch the mini-map on touchscreen to bring up full map

    Rolling resets PA/Tech charge
You can cancel a PA you've already fully charged by rolling and releasing the button.

You are fully invulnerable for a small moment when rolling.
With good timing you can roll through green lasers without activating them and red lasers without taking damage.

You can rotate your view to left or right by holding down X and then pressing L or R
You can do the above while holding down forward key to turn and run in nice curves.

You can change the direction while performing a PA by holding down left/right while rapidly tapping left shoulder key

Holding down R+left/ right/down/up in town allows your character to perform four different gestures.
Holding down L+R+left/ right/down/up another four different gestures.

When doing a Photon Blast, releasing the shoulder buttons before the circle on the floor fully expands will cancel the PB.

Fully charged Anti also revives downed party members

Heal traps both heal, removes status effects and revived incapacitated teammates.
A good tactic when you're out of scape dolls is to place a heal trap and stay within the effect area of the trap. In this way, even if you die the trap will explode and revive you.

    -

Synthing an element onto a weapon that already has an element only overwrites the element while keeping the level

Photon fortification adds from 5% to 15% on the photon type selected. You can save before doing the fortification and reload without saving if you're unsatisfied with the results.
Enemy drop synthesis works in the same way as above, however the element given and the element level is also random for some of the weapons.

Elements, Photon Percentages and Slots for the equipment in shop is random and changes every 15 mins spend outside of town(mission, field)
The same applies for the PD shop, Bakery and Coco Hut. You can always leave the DS on for 15 mins for the shops to get new inventory if they don't have what you want.

    -

ATP/MST gained from materials increase the bonus you get from Shifta, while ATP/MST gained from equipment or mag does not.

The HP- and PP recovery units stacks with the natural recovery of casts/newmen.

The PA compress unit makes charging both PAs and Techs faster.

The Element boost unit increases the level of your weapons by 1, but not past Lv5. This means it gives you a +10% damage if you're using Celeb weapons that are lv4 or lower. Depending on how much damage you're already dealing, the element boost(+10% dmg/hit) may be better than divine/power or divine/mind(+5 dmg/hit).

Celeb is the only element that has a 100% chance of happening regardless of weapon.

You cannot find the bakery or the coco hut while playing on WiFi-mode

Enemies on WiFi mode are slightly tougher than on story mode, they also have increased drop rates.
The same applies for the enemies on the higher levels of Eternal Tower.

    Rare rooms are:
    Bakery - Valley and Wetlands
Coco Hut - Shrine and Arca Plant
    Usani Nest - Snowfields
    Rappy Nest - Paru
    Booma Nest - Cave Ruins

In order to unlock Super for single player(story mode), you need to beat ALL(except for bakery one) of the quests for Hard with a single character.
A lot of people seem to get the problem where they've beaten some Hard quests on one character and the rest of hard quests on another character, and then none of the Hard quests have "NEW" next to them but Super still isn't unlocked.

I actually knew about most of those things, except one. The fact that the Element level keeps its level when you overwrite it with another one. A very nice thing to know because I've often avoided overwriting because I thought I would lose the level.

    Anyway, good informative post.
