Status Icons | ||
While engaged in combat, various status icons will show up on the HUD for enemies, teammates, and yourself. By keeping track of these icons, you will be able to appropriately adjust your battle tactics. This guide will give an overview of the icons that have been revealed. |

Known Icons | ||
Icon | Name | Description |
Crown | Denotes a "leader" among a group of enemies. Leaders and followers also usually have Sword and Shield icons. It is currently unknown whether killing a leader will cause the Sword and Shield icons to disappear for the followers. | |
Defense Down | Lowers the defensive stats of a player/enemy. | |
Defense Up | Boosts the defensive power of a player/enemy. | |
Evade Up | Boosts the evasion of a player/enemy. | |
Evade Up? | Boosts the evasion of an enemy. | |
Fire | Inflicts steady damage for a short period of time. The HP lost due to the steady damage can be significant. | |
Ice | Temporarily immobilizes a character. The affected character cannot move, use items, or attack. | |
Offense Down | Lowers the offensive stats of a player/enemy. | |
Offense Up | Raises the offensive power of a player/enemy. | |
Paralysis | Like the Ice condition, Paralysis prevents the player from moving, attacking, or using items | |
Poison | Like Fire, Poison inflicts steady damage for a small period of time. | |
Shield | Raises the defensive power of an enemy. It may also raise the enemy's technique resistances. | |
Shock | Prevents a player/enemy from attacking. However, they can still move around. | |
Silence | Prevents a player/enemy from casting techniques. They can still use melee attacks. | |
Staff | Increases the technique-casting abilities of a player/enemy. | |
Sword | Raises the offensive power of an enemy. | |
