Anyways, started playing LaTale. It's kind of fun. Sort of like Maplestory but with less grind, emphasis on tricky jumps, and superdeformed characters.

I ended up taking the name Etna within minutes of release, and creating the Disgaea guild later that day. Already we've recruited people such as Prinny, HolyAngelFlonne, and.. heh... DemonLordEtna.

Spent several hours today doing Evil Dragon Lair and fighting Invoke.
Gods this thing is an ass. It can kill you in a single combo if you aren't guarding. I mean it warns you, but sometimes there's no time to guard.

Because an alarm goes off, the ground sparkles, and then a giant death beam shoots from the sky and kills you regardless unless you duck. It just hits two or three times so I can't call it one-shot.

Plus his normal fire bursts hurt a LOT anyways.
Also I'm an explorer. so yes, there is an element of squishiness.

Explorers are like thieves, though they do the ranger stuff. Bows/Xbows/Throwingorstabbing Daggers/Knuckles.

They're actually pretty good damage, just not a lot of health. They get lots of bonuses to luck, finding money, treasure, etc.

Knights have shields and onehanded swords/clubs, or knuckles. Warriors have twohanded swords, spears, and... I think knuckles. Knights specialize in tanking, warriors in smashing. =D

Actually, Float would screw Talon over because he would be lighter than the duck. Also, if they threw him into the water, he would float and therefore be called a witch. Thirdly, he would be floating above the ground if you cast Float on him. Normal people don't float a foot above the ground, so he would be called a witch. :wacko:
