With NT weapons am i able to change attribute whenever i want? meaning i can use random fodder to change the attribtue of my 13*? before im pretty sure we needed the same rarity to do that but now?

You do it through the Grind Weapon option instead. When you choose the fodder to be used to grind the target, the Element values will be adjusted accordingly.

The stones are awarded based on your clear rank, though. For the first one, S-Rank gives two while A or B gives 1. For the other three, S-Rank gives three while A or B gives 2. If you have little of them, then it's because you've been getting bad ranks on them. Torana stones are RNG dependent so you can still get as much (or even more if you get lucky) on a bad run as a good run, as long as you finish the quest.

Regardless, even a BRHU with a Katana build will do more damage with a Bow using Banish + 2x Kamikaze (with Chase optional) on bosses, especially ones that you can set up on, such as Rodos.

They gave out some Star Gem tickets just as promotion through the Visiphone; currently, there are Star Gems tickets on the Bingo cards (I believe 15 total front and back), and you get two after wearing a recently released costume, outer wear, or body part for a bit of time (you will see a little Star Gem gauge in the item description); starting with next maintenance, they will be adding Star Gems to the Log-in Stamp card.

I've logged into the game with 3 different MAC addresses (Laptop through LAN, Laptop through Wi-Fi, and main PC) and have had no problems, even when I switch through them in a single day.

As long as you let the game patch, it should run fine. That said, if this new laptop is running Windows 10, to reduce the chance of any issues with the game, also make sure to do the following:

So you can get a maximum of 8. Once you accomplish any of these, you pick up the reward at the Title Counter.
There are two MBs that you don't have to clear for the requirements above, and those are the very last MB in Ep1 and Ep3 each, since those two are considered "bonus" MBs.

Clear EP1, EP2, and EP3 matterboard to get 3 emblems. Clearing all three net you another emblem, totaling it to 4.


Clear just means 'the gold node'. For the next 4 emblems, you gotta 100% every matterboard (minus the extra chapters. I dont remember which though lol)

Same format: Ep1, Ep2, Ep3 and total of the three Episodes gives your the last four emblems.

Edit: Is there any particular materboard you would recomend if I just want to get one quickly? Sorry for having so many questions ^^;It's not completing a particular MB, it's completing all MBs in a whole episode. That being the case, did you start playing before or after episode 4 hit? If it's after, then you would only have the story for episode 1 and episode 4 unlocked. If you started before episode 4 hit, then you should also have episode 3 unlocked. With Ep3 having less MBs than Ep1 and how the node advancement system works in Ep3, it would be much easier to complete all Ep3 MBs if you have it unlocked. Not only that, but the rewards for completing nodes in Ep3 are better, too. Ep1's story quests are also a pain to do, as some of them require you to finish it multiple times using different paths, so I would avoid Ep1 if possible. And I personally liked the story in Ep3, more, anyway.

If you don't already have an Ideal weapon, then I wouldn't bother with Ideal units. Aim for Saiki units, since they are still top-tier units and they aren't that hard to get. Aside from Gunne Ginna-Gam trigger MPAs, you can also get them in Tokyo Bonus Quest at a decent rate.

Strike Resist negates the amount of damage strike attacks are done to you.

Massive Hunter is the active skill that reduces knockback for a period of time.

No Katana (or any non Rod, Talis, Wand, or Jet Boot) can perform an unsheathed Tech charging animation (they by default sheathe the weapon when you use a Tech), but there are some that have T-ATK; サクスピース is a 12* that has 1000 T-ATK at +10 (drops from lv61+ Barbalillipan and XH TD4, BR equipable only), シュガラカサis an 11* that has 970 T-ATK at +10 (drops from lv76+ Parata Picoda [the purple and yellow toy-darker], BR, HU, FI equipable) . Do mind that their potentials are not that great. If you were to extend them, they would lose their T-ATK.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do, but you can create a second MySet that uses 2-Button for when you play the Vita version. This way, you can easily access a 2-Button setup without losing your 3-Button setup.

Doctor Ghidoras is the rare version of Train Ghidoran, which will show up randomly in place of the normal boss spawn in Train Ghidoran Suppression or the Tokyo Free Field.

You can currently get a Ghidoras trigger from the Casino Prize Counter for 5,000 casino coins, so, hopefully you have some stocked up!

First, make sure that his "user.pso2" file (located in Documents/SEGA/PHANTASYSTARONLINE2) is not set to Read Only. You can also open the user.pso2 file in notepad and try to manually modify it (set DrawLevel to whatever you want it to be on the slider [1-6], and modify the ShaderLevel [0-2, with 0 being simple] and TextureResolution [0-2, with 0 being compressed] ), or delete it to let the game create a new one (this will reset pretty much every in-game setting except a few, like key bindings).

If he's not using the google one and knows the login details (username, secret question/answer) then it would be easy to transfer/register otp onto a new device

What about knuckles? I did 1st potential for that which is what i was advised of but I'm also hearing mixed thing about 2nd one too.

I assume sword is 1st one. (considering getting that sword for my Hu)

Should I extend my Saiki set for my Force? I see people running around with an extended set and a normal set. I'd like to know which is better.

PP extending gives you 15 more pp total, but you lose out on 120 HP and some damage resistance. As a force, I would definitely extend the units.
It's Saiki: default is 50hp / 0pp per unit. The 25 pp are from set bonus.
PP craft is +30 pp / -150hp total and hp craft would be +150 hp / +-0 total.

Assuming lvl 10 craft (anything below is silly cause you need high def in XH) you also gain 36 s-def and 78 r-def but lose 75 t-def.

Knuckle is 1st. In fact, aside of talis for damaging purpose (Can't see much reason for this tho lol), all Orbit weapon should pick 1st pot. The 200% PP regen while in sheathed mode is too good to pass up.

Yes, yes, yes, no. Also, unless they have changed it recently, no timed ability at all seems to work with mining base quests.

Doesn't need to be in your pso2_bin. Just double click the .bat file. Also, just to make sure, you made sure to replace the first line of the code (ie. the"G:\Games\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\pso2_bin" part) with the location of your pso2_bin, correct? For example, I would put "C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\pso2_bin" instead in my .bat since that is where it is installed on my computer.

For those curious about the tech crafts: Zonde Type-0 can't hit Big Vardha or Vardha Soma reliably, and seems to be generally worse than Efficent or Concentrated Zonde, charged or normal casted. Type-0 Nazan is okay, but it can be really awkward to aim and generally doesn't work as it stops at the first ground hit. I suspect it will have minor bossing uses, but that's it.

Also, Zandion is broken, as the lightning effects do not appear after this patch. This is with both Zonde and Nazan being Type-0'd or not, so I think they just straight up broke it and no one tested it.

If you mean the end of mission S, A, B, C rank, then, no, you actually get a penalty to that for returning to campship. If you mean the player ranking (1-12), then more than likely not, as it can take longer to go back into the campship then get back down than just waiting for a revival, and either way, you are missing out on kills.

You might be running something in the background that gameguard doesn't agree with, which causes the game to crash as a security precaution. The error isn't specific though, so it could be anything! Does this pop up randomly as you play?

ci5: suspicious

Those are Discerning Eye (8% when matching Elemental Weakness) and Lunar Deity (16% Light Tech damage boost) according to the patch. I am pretty sure that both potentials are just regular Photon Sphere potentials. The NT version of the weapon even has Lunar Deity as its only potential.

Nope, you just pick one or the other. My guess is that Discerning Eye was its original potential, then Lunar Deity was added when they started giving weapons more than one possible potential.

Gravity bomb does deal damage; it's just very low damage and the AoE of the actual damaging part is very small and is only at the very beginning of it when it first explodes, so you'll literally have to throw it right onto an enemy to gain PP from Tactics Trap (and since its AoE is tiny, you won't be hitting anywhere near as many targets Stun Grenade, so you'll get like 1-2 enemies at best).

Increasing the grind cap does only that, increases the cap. You don't have to wait until 30+ to do it and you don't actually have to get the exp for the levels specifically from the weapon once you've increased the grind cap.

Most of us are outside of Japan, and very few people (if any) have been banned just for the sake of connecting from outside of Japan. It mostly just means that you are shit out of luck if you need to contact customer support.

Feeding the same 13* weapon to it only gains you 365 grind exp points, so the weapon alone won't necessarily level you up to the next. It just increases the cap and gives you a sizable chunk towards the next level.
Many people don't realize that it's not just the pure grind level that matters, but partial exp between levels makes a big difference, too.
What I do is that when I grind to +30 using Nox weapons as fodder, I make sure the bar progress going into +31 is maxed, so that I can squeeze in the most amount of grind exp points before actually feeding it the same weapons to increase its cap. This means that I only need another 1921 grind exp points to reach +35. 365*5=1825, which is still less than 1921, though, so even in this situation, you'll need at least 1 great success among the five same-name fodder to reach +35 without any additional fodder. So I just use +20% items for each of the 5 same-name fodders until I get the first great success, then the remaining ones won't need the item anymore. This is what I do to max a 13* with only 10 Lambda. With this method, if you don't mind using an additional lambda, or if you get really unlucky with the +20% item all five times, then one additional 7*-9* Emper Embrace fodder should be enough to reach +35. +100% are too expensive, IMO, to justify saving a single lambda (but if you're filthy rich, then a Lambda could be worth more to you than ~600k).
In your specific situations, you're probably quite a bit behind on exp, though, so you'll probably need more than 1 great success or more than 1 additional fodder.

Well, I already got 3 or 4 sitting on my storage, but no money to +30 it yet (along with other 3-4 items for another 3-4 type of weapons) .... so, rather than it filling my storage, I was wondering if I can just feed them all before grinding it to +30 (will do once I had the money for some weapons I'd like to use) and maximize the elemental power to save space in storage ...... ^^;

It's gone from the normal selling list. It's only back once in a while as a promotion. Technically, maximum is no longer true, since it was a 5 x 10 item pack expansion ticket, and now that we're at 150 maximum slot... Sega didn't want to change it and simply removed it instead of renaming. :wacko:

Actually, I imagine they took it out because if someone were to buy 2 sets of it to max their inventory out, they would be getting 10 slots for (almost) free. (1600AC+1600AC=3200AC vs. 10(350AC)=3500AC)

A temporary solution for that is to have the Tweaker fix Gameguard errors. When you re-download the GG files, the game should work properly. The bad news? You'll probably have to do this every time you start the game, unless someone else knows of a permanent fix.

Er.240 is unable to connect to server. Unfortunately, the attachment is broken for me, but do the Ships appear as Unknown? Do you normally connect without a proxy or VPN? If you use the PSO2Proxy, have you tried resetting the settings? Have you tried flushing your DNS and resetting your network hardware?

normally I used proxy and for this error tried to use free VPN but still not working, let me try again with other vpn

The Yamato one gives a 15% damage increase, but it is built by defeating enemies; at full potential, you build 1% of that 15% per enemy defeated. Here are the caveats: you have to deal the killing blow to get the damage increase, switching weapons to anything other than another Yamato rod clears the damage increase, but it is not reset when you move areas.
The Tokyo rod gives 30% PP recovery when you attack, and a 10% damage increase when your PP is above 30%.

Depends on your preference, Gu/Ra is mostly burst damage for the highest damage output, they're also a lot more fragile and die a lot easily if hit 2-3 times straight. Edit: of course, you also got access to weak bullet which in turn allows you to support parties a lot more than Gu/Hu.

Gu/Hu is a bit more tanky with their HP filled skill tree, iron will, flash guard, etc. Damage is not burst dependant but is a lot more consistent but it's never as huge or broken like the Gu/Ra.

Again, your choice there.

Eggs are area drops and getting the actual drop is all up to RNG, but personally I find that being Su main helps eschew the odds in your favor a bit.

I think there was a mistake in translation on that part. I'm going through MB 2-1 as well and I found that gold node in coast area instead. So try there, maybe?

You aren't on the fourth matterboard because no such thing exists, you are either on the storyboard (Episode 4) Or on chapter 4 (matterboard 1)

Each one is a separate requirement, so as soon as you clear #1 on the list you can claim one emblem, but you cannot get #4 without clearing #1, #2, and #3.

Might be a odd question, but is anyone having crashes when going to certain websites? my pso2 gets the error like when a exe tries to execute when I visit a few sites in my browser (firefox) when pso2 is open

From what I can test, any time firefox launches flash player, it will crash PSO2.

Chrome doesn't get this issue has chrome's flash player is built into the browser itself.
