Bit confused on how Fornis Wand works. Does it proc weak stance? Is it even worth using on fire/lightning enemies if it doesn't?
I guess if I use the element changing ring to fire or lightning (only) then weak stance will still proc while also activating the potential. I know that changing to an element outside of those won't work though.

S-Ranking 3 certain story missions gets you titles other than that your rank at the end of the mission is worthless; those missions are 1-10, 2-6, and 3-7. Anything regarding episodes 1 through 3 all the 'rewards' are related the the Matter Board NOT to the story mission itself. For obtaining MBs, Completing the important bits of the MB, and FULLY completing the MB all net you titles and various rewards usually boosters or in one case.

I notice that Zanverse after damage is counter towards you hence it heals you when it is under Megiverse even though you didn't attack yourself so I was wondering if it's possible to boost Banish Arrow's damage with the damage you sap from other players in the MPA? Or is it solely your damage only?

Certain weapons have an extra potential called a Weaponoid Potential; you unlock them using Weaponoid Boosters that you acquire from PSO2es by leveling up and doing the side stories for Weaponoid chips.

There is a 13* Coat Edge ver.2 that you can trade for using 2016 Badges, but the current LQ has a drop only Coat Edge camo.

Basically, at endgame, an extra 30 ATK points makes very little difference compared to adding an extra 2% damage.

If you really want the extra PP, go for Flict, otherwise, just take Phrase and call it a day.

All 4 Episode LQs, plus a combined Ep1-4 LQ, will be up from July 5th to August 9th, so you'll have a second chance at *Coat Edge even after this week's LQ is switched out.

What weapon do you use the most? If Katana, take L/Katana Combat Count Up and generics (Step Jump and Air Reversal, or what have you). You can also make Gear Guard R or Short Combat, but these are highly situational. If Bow, just take Bullet Bow Homing and generics.

I have a question about the Episode 3 translation. I am going through the story for the first time ever and I've gotten to Episode 3, Chapter 5. Everything up to this point so far has been translated, and I've reached a matterboard cutscene (it was a gold one, not a blue one) that just stopped translating near the beginning of it, and re-playing the cutscene in the Event Chronicle yielded the same exact spot where it stopped translating.

Here's a picture of what I mean, and the exact text where the change happened in text format:

I'm looking to upslot it to 5-6 slots and get some more PP/T-Atk on it. I know how to affix but I'm not sure what the best way to go about it and what to put on it. Looking for suggestions and the best way to get to there. Want to capitalize on the potential of the double attack boost you can get on it.

Second question. Currently wearing sakai but have picked up 2 pieces of Zeinesis (Arm/Leg). They are currently only two slot. Should I work on up slotting these and wearing them now or wait until I get a full set of it. What affix should I be putting on these? As always this is all for Fo/Te as that is my main playstyle.

Is there any way to reduce the BLINDING effects that this game has constantly? I already have "Reduce Effect Lighting" set, but it doesn't seem to do anything much.

The game is almost unplayable for me because of these two problems. People talk about "just git gud, learn to dodge" and so on, but how am I supposed to do that when I can't see anything? I might as well just have my eyes closed when playing, because it's the same thing.

Would the "basic shaders" setting help or something? Any other graphics settings to look at? Are there any mods that fix this?

Unless you have a shitload of mes and a bunch of +35 weps to steal their SAF's do somthing like:

magi the soul - combine Toh'oh soul and another basic soul(quartz,ragne etc) - 35 attack / 3pp
deus factor - cheap as chips right now - 20 attack / 1pp
tech4/5 - 35/40 attack
spirita 4/5 - 5/6pp
Sentence triple - 30 attack - special ability factor, as long as the base zeinsis is +35 you get this for free @ 100% no matter how many slots
6th slot choose from power or pp - tons to choose from, mods, flicts, boosters, other SAF abils

Thas not an amazing affix but it certainly will be the most affordable at this point.

As for Armour you do want a 12* set and asap as its a requirement to have equipped a full set of 12*+10 armours to get into expert blocks. Also if any class needs the 12* defense stats its force. Ideally you want astra set to minimise the PP loss over Saiki.

You know Aura's Arena Potential, the one that increases PP recovery and damage based on he number of Affixes? It's basically that, but replace "PP recovery up" with "PP consumption down".

As for Armour you do want a 12* set and asap as its a requirement to have equipped a full set of 12*+10 armours to get into expert blocks. Also if any class needs the 12* defense stats its force. Ideally you want astra set to minimise the PP loss over Saiki.

Whats the best way to go about this however? I'm on a 4 slot weapon now. I was looking at changing it to go from what I currently have which is a 4 slot with Junk on it that i'll replace to something like - Modulator, Flict Magica, Techinique IV, Spirita IV, Magi the Soul. Then perhaps adding the +35 weapon ability and noble technique later on. Or am I going about this wrong? I feel like this weapon will last a while because of Ragrants which is why I wanted to invested into it more.

Weapon: Soul/T3/Spi4/Mod/Flict is 5 affixes already. Adding Sentence and a booster to it makes it 7 slots. Drop something if you're only aiming for 6s. Personally I'd drop Modulator since Sentence Triple does the same thing, and you want the PP because those are also getting doubled.

For armor: Do you need rings to survive? If so, how many rings do you absolutely cannot part with? If you only need 1 or 2 rings, this set (http://pso2.swiki.jp/index.php?%E3%82%AA%E3%83%95%E3%82%BC%E3%83%AB%E3% 83%A0) + a Qliphad leg still offers the overall highest amount of HP/PP/ATK. If you need more than 2, go full 12*.

If you have a 64-bit OS, have you tried enabling large file awareness?
In the Tweaker, you can go to Other Tasks>Enable Large Address Aware.
If you don't use the Tweaker, then Shoterxx has created a nice little .bat file to do it available in this post.

I have 64 and I tried enabling the large file awareness. The moment I logged into the game it came me some error warning and then closed the game completely. I can try and get a screenshot of that in a while.
Someone suggested the touch keyboard service and I've disabled it this morning. It didn't help.

Lv 10 is the max.

Can't check ingame atm. But if I remember right it should cost you 6-7 mil meseta to unlock Lv6-10 for one unit type, so 18-21 mil for rear+arm+leg.

In settings, there is an option that will color-code damage from enemies on your health bar when you receive it. Striking damage will be red, ranged damage will be blue, and technique damage will be yellow. I believe that the light shots (grants?) are technique damage (I need to turn that setting back on myself to confirm).

I believe the changing color is simply a visual aid that indicates the magnitude of the price. Prices turn yellow when they are set above one million. I'm not sure when the price changes red, maybe above one billion?

I was told that phrase weak only applies to the attribute of the weapon itself.

What affixes on random equipment should I keep these days? I assume Apprentice Souls have been outdone by something else.
Are there any Photon Art customizations that are not worth doing?
Have there been any changes to class skills?
I thought I remember a setting where Pudding would automatically give you your daily Extreme Pass if you were logged in, am I misremembering?

automatic means passive pp regen, not pp generated by attacks. But keep in mind while you landing conventional strikes (not PAs) passive regen is still on, along with active one. Should work along with charging techs too

Im trying to Git Gud with just basic dodging so I dont have to blow PP on Parallel all the time to avoid something or when I dont have the PP for it. So, I've hit a gap here. I've finally gotten the time and resource and got my Orbit rifle to +30. But now I see that I can't grind past this cap to get to +35. you need 6 copies to be able to grint a NT weapon up to +35, 1 wich will be your main weapon, and one for each cap release up to +35. each grint lv of a NT weapon gives 1% extra atk to the weapon so you´re just losing 5% of extra atk on your weapon, what i see you could do

- use your orbit normally and learn to live with that missing 5% atk

- try your luck at arena for that (extremely) rare drop that raises your weapon grind cap +1 (or if you have a lot of money just buy it, but they are expensive)

- if you´re were planing to use your orbit as your main damage weapon, then better give it some basic affixes and use it as a pp recovery weapon and start saving for a better weapon like zeinesis.

Orbits had their age when their were one of the top tiers competing with austere, but there are a lot of stronger weapons at the moment (like zeinesis), most ppl using orbit these days use it only as a tool to quickly recharge pp ty for its sheathed pp recovery x3 potential

My main concern was to kill 3 birds with one stone, one for the expert block requirement, and the other being the LV80 requirement for both RA and GU.

Depends on the weapon, but for most things, you more or less want to pick Light all the time, since Light is kinda expensive to change into, but not to change out of. Same goes for Eggs.

Save Advanced Tekking for 13* drops or higher, since it saves you a lot of headaches in terms of upgrading Element.

SAF is just unlocked by reaching +35 on a weapon. If you've unlocked +35 on a weapon and you're using it as the base, you can affix its own SAF to itself (in this case, Sentence Triple).

It's hard to say at this point, but since other titles that are used as requirements are account based, it's likely that the titles for Hero will be as well.

Gix Pot requires the player to go for almost a minute without something specific occurring to get the full power of the weapon, at which point it's the best weapon in the game damage-wise. There are three categories of Gix, which are "don't use Mates", "don't get hit" and "don't use Mirage Escape". The problem is that the latter two are typically extremely restrictive for whichever class gets them, and "don't use Mates" runs into a problem with Automate users, since Automate procing also resets the damage pot. Also, as FO, TE, and BO, you typically switch weapons a lot, which kills the point of getting Gix.

Zeinesis/Qliphad with Anthesis Trainer can approach, but not reach, full power Gix in damage, but isn't constrained by arbitrary restrictions, making it much more consistent in DPS and a better option for FO, TE, and BO. Also, Anthesis Trainer doubles up on non-ATK affixes as well, such as Phrase, Stamina, and Spirita, which gives Zeinesis/Qliphad better raw stats through Affixing than any other weapon.

TD;DR: Gix is too inconsistent compared to Zeinesis/Qliphad and Anthesis Trainer gives better non-ATK stats.

Normally, you can only put Poster-type Room Items on walls. The Poster Board lets you put them anywhere in the room. The three different Poster Boards are for three different shapes of Poster Board.

2. My Aura weapon will need Arena Boosters. I hate PvP in most games, I usually suck at it, I just don't dig fighting other players when we could be fighting the stupid, stupid computer and prevent the robot uprising. How long would it take someone who sucks at PvP to get enough coins to get the boosters needed to max out one of those 13* Aura weapons? Just head over there and keep busting my ass until I get it as it is a finite grind and not "hope it drops," and not worry about it?

There are files that SEGA doesn't use anymore, but will force you to re-download them if you delete them.

Ok, thanks for that. I'm still grinding my way through the various matter boards - literally finishing off the last drop for the 1-11 board before starting Episode 2 - but it might be worth it to try to switch over to Episode 4 and do those client orders for the grinders.

Hopefully the PvP is somewhat fun-ish so it's not completely intolerable.

Lambda Grinders come from all over the place in this game. Getting them from Zeig's crafting orders, mentioned by Anduril, is probably the best method.

Other ways to get Lambda Grinders include using the recycle shop. You can trade a ten pack of 10* or 11* eggs for a Lambda Grinder. You can also trade three 12* weapons for a Lambda Grinder. This gives you a method to more or less "buy" Lambda Grinders with meseta by purchasing 12* weapons off of player shops and then recycling them. Maybe not so great, but it's definitely better than paying 50 excubes per grinder.

1: Correct. Only things you'll take with you are your inventory, on hand money, and char storage
2: You cannot transfer items across ships without moving a character
3: FUN, star gems, AC, challenge miles, and battle coins are all cross-ship
4: In my experience ship 2 is on average no better or worse than any of the other ships
5: Yeah, you need to be able to log in to put in the transfer request, which you can't do during maint.

2) No way without paying for a transfer.

Any title rewards you HAVE NOT claimed yet will be available for claiming on the new ship. Title IS account-wide though, so once claimed on the new ship, you can no longer claim it on old ship.

Oh and yeah you get put in a queue when you ask for a transfer, and transfer is performed during maintenance. Depending on how long the queue actually is, you may or may not get to move after the next maint. The line usually isn't that long so there shouldn't be a delay, but just in case. You also need to have enough AC in your account for the transfer before maint happens, otherwise they won't do it for you.

Last time we had Elegant Boosters was with the one week only Golden Week Scratch back at the end of April, where they came in bundles from the Gold Scratch. Before that was they only came from the New Year Carnival 2017! Support Item Scratch (mid-March) and the Year-End Support Item Scratch, both of which were only a week long as well. Thus far, they have not been part of normal AC Scratch rotation.

1) Sometimes I get this purple "slashing" animation around me that looks and sounds like katana PA "Asagiri". It seems to happen randomly, but only after Ive done a bunch of damage. It lasts about 10 seconds and doesnt seem to do any damage. I was using DS as Fi/Hu if that matters. What is this?

2) Can the shift action whirlwind on DS stack or does it only overwrite the duration?

1) Sometimes I get this purple "slashing" animation around me that looks and sounds like katana PA "Asagiri". It seems to happen randomly, but only after Ive done a bunch of damage. It lasts about 10 seconds and doesnt seem to do any damage. I was using DS as Fi/Hu if that matters. What is this?

2) Can the shift action whirlwind on DS stack or does it only overwrite the duration?

1) Odds are that is your lv200 Striking Mag's Special Action. It takes 2 minutes to charge and it triggers when you attack a boss or sub-boss.
2) I believe it just extends the duration, though most of my experience with it is using the ring that triggers it automatically during PA use without draining the Gear Gauge.

Sounds to me like Mag's SP Action .....
it has 120s cooldown (shown with aura around Mag when it's ready, will activate when hitting boss / mini-boss ... or took hit too, I believe).
It deals damage at melee range, recover 1 PP per hit, increase player's damage by 0.5% / hit (capped at 10%) .......

Did anyone else notice something about the new LQs?

This is about the post-quest report - the one that appears in the campship, showing you your rank, CF progress and all that. Anyway I noticed that the first time, and first time only, you clear each special training LQ, you get an extra page of the report.

However I didn't pay attention and just clicked through it so I didn't really catch what it says. It's probably something like "you have cleared the limited quest and are eligible for promo rewards later" but did anyone catch what does it say fully?

One of my characters has the butler's COs unlocked and hasn't even done anything in the Volcanic Caves yet - just unlocked the first mission for them where you kill stuff for points.

There might be another requirement, though, since I always slap some tickets on them to boost them to 20 pretty much right off the bat.

It might just be needing to unlock Forest then (and maybe a level requirement), since I never did Sofia's COs on any but one of my characters and still have Yerkes' COs unlocked on them all. I always do a full afternoon of just area unlocks with a new character, so I had them all unlocked before even stepping foot into the Cafe on any characters that I've made post-EP4, so I wasn't too sure if it was needing to unlock all areas (in my head that made more logical sense since they are area-bound items, just like how Hans' COs only unlock once you have unlocked a planet).

2. Kamaitachi stacks up to two times.

3. Knuckles are good for laying down hard DPS on vulnerable stuff. TAJA Backhand Smash does a shitload of damage.

Decide what you really want on the units. Pray to god if you're aiming for Astral/Ether Factor, otherwise it's... well it's still a gamble but not as bad.

More or less. Assuming you're going Apprentice/Ether/Mod/Doom/something/Elegant, your final result, on lowest required amount of fodders, need to look like this:

Base - Ether Soul/Catalyst/Doom/something/x/x
Fodder 1 - Apprentice/Catalyst/Mod/Doom/something/x
Fodder 2 - Apprentice/Catalyst/Mod/Doom/something/x
Fodder 3 - Apprentice/Catalyst/Mod/x/x/x

You can spread Mod and Doom across different units to lessen the chance of failing, and you can always use the last 2 fodder slots to spread them out a bit further, but it's not going to be cheap and/or smooth sailing.

You can use like, one less Apprentice Soul during a 10% boost if you want to wait 'till then for this, whenever that's going to be. Dropping down to only needing 1 Apprentice Soul requires you to have a Soul Receptor at 5s or 6s.

Edit: If you play the upslot game and do this during a 10% week, upslotting have 60% chance of bringing all affixes over. Off boost week it's 31%

Not particularly. It's just RNG. It's also RNG if you actually get the weapon; you're more likely to get 8 Synthesizers.

Redran drops from the ESC-A Falz Mother EQ even on Normal, though you can only get a 10*-12* starting on SH, and 13* only from XH (though you can also get 13* Redran in the Rainy Collection File), and Aero drops from Ultimate Amdusica (technically from lv76+ Beast Anga and Gruzolas Drago).

Back after about a year and trying to catch up. I'm wondering if it's worth getting an Orbit, Invade or Austere weapon at this point? I have these and enough stones to get an Orbit weapon and either Austere DS or any other Invade weapon. I've barely started the collection file, only ran 1 EQ with the Double Saber file since I didn't know I could stack multiple collection files. So, now I have them for TDs, Knuckles and DS.
