stick to Atra or LS, those weapons from Armada (aside 1 or 2) are basically camo's

Since the ATK difference between the two is rather low (68 S-ATK not counting affixes), Atlas EX edges out the Armada one because of the extra SSA slots. It really is only useful if you've used up all your other 15* options and still want a 15* Katana.

Armada katana is good for buget it only has s1 put s1 from LS in it and you're good to go don't need to went through 8s hell to get 200 atk

Phrase Response is a normal affix, so it's a one time use if you are adding it to anything other than the Astra weapon itself.

To use it to affix it to your Atlas, you are going to need to get the Astra up to 8 slots as well.

hero weapons have terrible normal attack regen, so i'd highly advise against putting that on a sword.

Yeah, you definitely can and should replace that. 11* units are very outdated. They're not exactly best in terms of 12* units though so might wanna get Cleasis instead
As for getting it to 15pp, go for 6s (easy now with the 15% dudu nerf) and do something akin to this (http://bit.ly/31BOWNF) (for RATK at least)

Ares/Tech III/ARKS Fever/Persona Reverie/Elegant Tech (http://bit.ly/31EGjSB) is easily a 140atk/35hp/12pp unit for 5s (Persona reverie is cheap for 40 atk and Elegant Tech is cheap compared to Elegant Strike/Shoot).

If you really wanna hit that 13+ pp you could make one of your units have Spirita III instead so all 3 units averages out to 130atk/13pp each :wacko:

Nope, I am very outdated on defense stuff, I only heard that Lightstream is good, but no luck for that at all, only got 2 arm unit.

And last boost, I was busy doing weapon, so Got +35 Lightstream rifle 8s, +35 Astra Ex ROd 8s, +35 Lightstream ROd 8s

I was using 11* Auster back and arm, and Orbit leg, until someone tell me that I can upgrade the 11* to 12*, which I did.
Back and ARm have 5 slotAstral Soul, Modulator, Flict Magia, Technique IV and Elegant Tech
had 65/65/160-Atk, 35S/R/T Def, HP+35 and PP+12

Leg Orbit is 6s
Astral, Tech IV, Modulator, Flict Magiia, Latan Fever and Noble Tech
65/65/160 Atk, 35 Def 40 Dex hp+35, PP+13

With Rod, My PP is 201, but on rifle it's 197
Currently maining Phantom, so I know to get PP to 200+

So I should switch to Cleasis unit for all 3 slot, and go 6s with what Nyan is using except with Tech?

I'd keep the 12★ Austere unit combo. Making a new rear+arm is pretty unnecessary when they're more or less comparable to each other when affixed, as seen below

Upslotting from 7 to 8 (If you have a 45 booster from the campaign saved up, that's a guaranteed upslot). Otherwise, roughly 70% chance to upslot (still good imo and getting back to 7s is easy even if you fail)

Full S-ATK or full DEX will work.

If you can only have one MAG, then full DEX is the best. It will let you use the most powerful armor sooner than normal if you haven't hit max level yet. Not to mention it's better than S-ATK if you ever choose to sub Phantom because then you get twice the stats from your MAG. Same thing if you ever decide to play Braver. Or anything that can sub Phantom.

1. usually have to wait until we get closer to the stream day because info tends to come out the sooner the stream or a few days/the week before an update

2. some people may have not noticed or dont bother to go to bumped and read up and it doesnt get talked about

Thanks! How feasable is it to upslot a 5s unit to 6s for maybe a ARKS Max? or any other T-ATK focused affix to maybe push it over 150 atk?

If you have LS, always use LS.
As for ARKS fever/ARKS Max, if you have the meseta/Fever fods to do so I cant see why not. Upslotting from 5 to 6s only needs a 30 booster so they're very easy to do

Mark Receptor comes only from the Add Ability (Mark Receptor) lab item, which are only available from special circumstances, such as from the scratch bonus for the current support AC scratch or from a special campaign.

The price should speak for the rarity by itself.

You don’t need mark for 200 atk. You don’t need mana reverie either.

You only need: Stat 5, Apprentice soul, “name” reverie, grace stat, any 30 atk affix like sentence triple or modulator. Or any variations of that like stat 6 and 35 atk soul.

My bad, I misunderstood your initial question and were looking for other things to fill in to reach that 200 attack (on the assumption you knew of Grace as that's practically the easiest to obtain of the 200 atk req)

They are listed on ARKS Visiphone and Bumped (http://www.bumped.org/psublog/pso2-station-34-recap/). Potential as listed on Bumped: "Potential: Recovers HP & PP when sheathed, based on the damage dealt amount." Potential is same for both Dual Saber and Gunslash.

I did the 5 slots version for 850M. I think I could do the 4 slots version within 350M to 400M.
It's not easy or cheap. It comes with a very high cost in excubes because there are many steps to crack and catalysts so keep that in mind.

whether you're a pure melee techer or not you should consider having both wands. Lavis Ultimate booster version of the potential has slightly stronger melee overall, but it also comes with relatively weak HH especially compared to Atra EX, so really both wands have their niches !

I'd tell you to hold off and see what gear releases relatively close to the class release (dont waste meseta crafting 13*s either) and go from there. It's nice to prep and all but we still dont know if the current gear will get power creeped in the next 2-3months

As they are all Add Ability items, no it is not; you can only add one Add Ability item at a time and they cannot be transferred via normal affixing.

Totally up to you on how to go about it

Pretty much, on their own, they aren't stronger then 15* NT
But if you use the right Affix, current meta seems to be Slayer+Ripper, it can be as strong if not stronger on specific type of enemy.

EDIT: Found the answer. They do still remove that variance bonus; though, I guess it isn't as bad since it is easier to get 100% crit nowadays.

Atlas, Atlas EX, and Lightstream weapons cannot be destroyed in any way (ie. discard, grind fodder, affix fodder, or desynth).

You can always trade it back to Zeig for the Chronos Stone and stick that into Material Storage.

XH Forest, Caves and Coast were released after XH Enchanted Forest.
The enemies in Forest, Caves and Coast did not get an upgrade on their AI, so they are just sitting ducks for most of the time. The enemies in Enchanted Forest on the other hand are not "entirely" pushovers. So despite enemies having similar HP values, you do not have to dodge or chase in Forest, Caves and Coast.

I think it's more likely you're not used to deal with mobs in Enchanted? :o

Some mobs in Enchanted can be a bit more annoying.
If you're using things like SRoll / AoE attack like Brand New Star or SatAim (I don't have much experience other than Gu), you might hit non-weak spot on some mobs (things like those Earth-worm-rider).
Gonna need a tiny bit more effort to do a bit of positioning / (double) jumping / aiming.

XH is still XH tho.

The Atlas weapon set (when upgraded to Atlas EX) is one of the best in the game. It's worth the space in your storage.

Fix that element percentage btw.

Getting more Def is useless. After all, the point is not to be able to tank them, but to avoid them entirely.
The Def I mention is with Deband drink for RDR boost and Te's Deband. Lobby Defense values are in the ~1900s

Even my Hunter with roughly the same defense stats mentioned by Dark Mits, plus the Flash Guard skills and full LightStream units is still seeing 4-digit damage from "The Big Attacks".

Really wish we still had that Arks Mod Tool for better camera zoom levels, so we could atleast SEE the attacks coming from our flanks/rear. Or better yet, Sega just give us additional levels of camera zoom.

Healers shouldn't really be a problem unless your team is weak. For a "great team" you sound like you have more issues than you should have. That's just my opinion tho.
I can't write up an in depth thing for how-to arena in Idola but I can give you a basic gestalt in what you could do for easy enough wins most of the time at the very least for arena coins and a "win proof" tactic.
Note: your experience may vary depending on what you have access to.

Have your team #1 have 1 "MVP" aoe nuker, the rest being supports/whatever to boost that character/cushion incoming damage until you can EB.
If their regular attacks/skills have aoes that do damage, the better. Remember that the more unlocked "slots" or whatever on a character allows more initial element at start to get off that initial EB. Make sure to have appropriate gear equipped.
Having Emil/Popo Pudding in the team can make a world of a difference to let you get off the EB as early as the second turn and wipe the enemy due to the element gain buff.

Moment the enemy team has been offed, their team #2 will step in and EB your team #1, either smashing it entirely and/or leaving it sort of halfdead or whatever because deaths = element gain.
Now that they blew their load, they won't be a threat for the moment. This is where you reverse rush in your team #2. Use gear that increase reverse rush damage for biggest impact, if able.

Since your team #1 members mostly/or entirely died from previous onslaught, you should gained enough element to EB with team #2. Wear souls that increase speed so team #2 act before the enemy does.
Also have ones with aoe EBs. Two of those firing off should be enough to end enemy team #2. Add in some sort of buffer that always act first(like usually a "dancer") to help get the damage up.
Just to ensure you'll have enough element by then, you can have the EB users different elements(so team #1 could be wind/water EB users, team #2 earth/fire EB users or whatever, just depends on what you have and so on).

Hopefully it is of help. The PvP element in Idola is about building a team that's able to do the job effectively against the opponent's team. Its more leaning to a strategy side of things.
Also some souls(like Lynx Assassin) can shake things up a bit(such as removing the element buff your elementors just slapped on, screwing things up if you didn't foresee it).

Playing FF14 and then coming back to this game is ridiculous. The camera here is literally riding up your ass. And this is an action game. Probably some sega brand bubblegum code preventing its implementation.

You can set voice clips to actions via Autowords. Go to the Autowords menu, find the action you want (use a PA, activate Dark Blast, etc.), and type in the /vo code for the voice clip you want.

taking in mind the default critical damage , it is viable IMO , i did something similar with a atlas EX daggers using many passives of the fighter and hunter also S4 dagger effect , gives me 95% critical chance and S1 to S3 are 10% critical damage in total

Honestly, my best guess is that they have changed the priority of default voice clips over Autoword ones since that video was published, or there is something in sound or Autoword settings that I may have not noticed.

The PA autoword is RNG (and a very low %) I tried doing like 20 PA and only listen to it once
This is maybe to prevent spaming the chat with autoword every time you do a PA
Tried to do it with the Techs and the rate is much higher (like every 3 techs or something like that)

There are some ones that are not RNG, like the Dark Blast Trigger, Boarded AIS, etc.

demon fossils: enchanted forest , not sure if buster quest grade 3 drops these (long time without play one)
cleansis boosters drops like crazy in EF , schevelle drops alot more on BQ grade 3 (im sure in this one)

a tip that i can give you (but is expensive) is:
1 if you have the ingredients to build a lumiere weapon , build it , even if is not the weapon type you want
2 grind to +35 a val gunblade or any val weapon (if is the same type as the lumiere weapon you save some resources)
3 turn the val weapon into a 14* atlas then change it into the weapon type of your lumiere weapon
4 turn those into a 15* atlas, then change it into the category you want

I think they lifted it . I mean it's only been a day since I could log in normally without a VPN/proxy.

So I recently returned to PSO2 and I'm grinding lightstream. I know that Persona gives the rare grain stones. and I'm not far from finished now. But I'vve gotten almost 200 stones (had to buy a pre-req thing with some) and I am sure I need to defeat his EQ "50 times" to get the "circular amphitrite stone"

But coming up on 200 stones, I'm beginning to get worried.

The 50 clear count is account-wide, across all ships. If you haven't been keeping track of the number of times you've downed Persona, unfortunately there's no way to know the exact number (aside from a 30 clear title which could give you a vague idea of where you are). Also side note, the 4-Player Trigger (the one that drops from the EQ and can be bought on the shop) and the SG Trigger also count towards the clear count

In addition to [Persona], you can also get a Circular Amphitrite Stone by running the Armada EQ; it is the reward for a cumulative 7.2 million points, which is usually less than 30 XH runs of it, and it currently pops up on the schedule more often than [Persona].

Now there's 49 weapons left across all types that cost over a million (and I don't mean like 1.05 million, I mean like 1.5 or above).

1) If you are a returning player (or are in a party with one and haven't yet collected your reward) when you finish a featured quest, you get 2 rewards from the box rather than just one; you are not getting two of the same reward, so you could end up with something like a Tokyo Gold Key and a Meseta +50% from the same reward box.

Yes but the main use of Zondeel is gathering the mobs, not its damages. When it's doing damage, it loses its gathering effect.

its a ring for a forgotten time where setting off Zondeels was a bit of an issue but is no longer the case. Theres no reason to set off Zondeel outside shocking Elder for example, a Talis that released in the past used to do a lot of damage with it but Sega took care of it quick. Lighting techs are also one of the least used for obvious reasons so the need to Zondeel then attack is not nearly needed as much when Re Zandia does the job much much better

You can increase APPR to your liking to any level, based on your gameplay. Increase it until you're satisfied with your PP recovery (could be 0).

SRollJA can be maxed. I maxed it, since I'm using GuHu, ChainFinish can use BulletSquall with this one skill activate. GuFi will rely more on combos, so, effectiveness of this skill will be reduced. Ofc, you can leave it at 0.

none of the normal attack boosts pots work with Successor classes, Sega made sure that rifles pot wasnt going to either just like they did with Dragon Slayers normal boost pot

I'd say to try again after removing Zanba too, and with other classes as well. The only ability I know that reduces passive PP regeneration rate is S4: Coloured Spectrum.

I've also been trying to find a group that helps newer player learn the game. Aside from feeding my mag I don't really know anything about how stuff works. Seems like I do way less damage than I should at this point in the game and I suspect it's because I don't understand the mechanics of the game and synergies of my gear I should be going for. Currently I have about 13 mil meseta and around 700 rare weapons that I should probably be using for crafting things.

For non-Te, stat boost K x8 (or x7 + PP restore J if it's a tech mag, or if you're willing to spend 800 cubes). Starve the mag until you want 2 minutes of shifta/deband.

S4 Saint Shield is also pretty good for all classes.
It's nothing fancy but considering that the selection for S4 is very limited and a lot of them are only for specific classes or specific weapons it's pretty nice if you don't wanna spend a ton of money (especially if you don't play a class that much).

The cast animation is the following:

Rod: 32 (phantom rod is also 32)
Talis: 32
Wand: 34
Jet Boots: 34
Non-Tech Weapon: 38
Unarmed: 38

So in your case, anywhere from 62 ~ 68 frames.

If you want to listen to swiki’s logic, the tech cast animation is 30 regardless of what you use. So your thing would be 60 frames flat.

I have been trying to get into PSO2. Tweaker just freezes constantly. Nothing loads and I can't get into the game. I deleted Tweaker and reinstalled it, nothing. That's the problem, its just a bunch of white squares. Then I get a bunch of messages telling me that everything timed out. I even tried just using the official launcher and it froze to. This is the only program having this issue right now. I do not understand what is happening.

I am trying to put it on my other hard drive but I don't know if its doing anything. Still being extremely laggy and slow. I only have my ethernet connection so its just that one. It was working before. Only changes was I put in a new processor and mobo but that shouldn't have messed it up this bad because everything else works. Windows did an update recently but I don't know if that would cause anything.

But yeah, Tweaker is still taking a while to open and opening with white boxes everywhere and still giving me time out errors. I have tried this with no firewall or other protection programs open and nothing's changed.

I believe it is an ARKS Mission thing that you need to do; if I recall it is to talk to Afin.
Basically, the game has made it so that the Main ARKS Missions serve as the extended tutorial.

Also, what's the best tech(s) to use against Gal and Transmizers in UH, I have no idea what to do and have been zanverse-ing and spamming zonde-type-0 like an idiot.

HERO's TMG PP recovery is by default set to self recovery ... meaning if I do not push the button , no pp is recovery.

So you want something that gives you attack PP recovery? Then the answer is no, as the PP drain and reload function was the entire gimmick of TMG hero. You can however use those SSAs that increase the recovery percentage and/or regen a certain amount every X second, but nothing that is attack PP recovery.

In the 10/02/201 update thread (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?238551-Next-Update-10-02-2019&p=3468944&viewfull=1#post3468944), Sizustar posted an image from a magazine that shows that at least some of them will come from the Medal Exchange Shop as Add Ability items.

What's the best quest nowadays to get a huge amount of Tech and PA disks at Lv11+Team trigger for Cradle of Darkness. You should be getting more than 100 disks fragments per run, and possibly more than 200 if you get good PSE Bursts. Issue is that 80%+ of them are Heel Stab, and you can end runs without a single Tech disc even as a Tech-user.

2nd best source I've found is SH +50 AQs.

After that it's regular Free Fields.

any affix that gives S-atk if what you ask its recomendations:

1 persona , elder or omega reviere .
2 apprentice soul or EX souls for balance effects
3 deus factor
4 for S1 phantasmal intent from ares gunblade , S2 from aura series or vades series and maybe S3 from dia series

if those dont convince you then good luck finding the S-items you need

If my eyes were not deceived, the 5% bonus to catalists and other bizarre affixes that we get on the 1st of every month doesn't apply today.

On a related note, I have no idea what to put on a factor catalist fodder. I'm not even sure it's a good idea to make one at this point. (7s)

As an additional note, the best chances are in areas where you can get PSE Burst for Rare Enemy, since it's rare enemies that mostly drop disks. I think one of the new 4th daily FQs in Corrupted Mothership can drop many disks too.

-buy another junk cleasis
-upgrade both to schvelle
-use an S6 capsule on the junk schvelle
-S ability transfer the S ability from the junk schvelle to my affixed schvelle
