Ok, I've seen A LOT of people have trouble beating Humilias, let alone SH Humilias.
As I played through Arca 50+ times on SH, I decided to make a quick and easy guide on how to beat him fast, and accurate.
-------------
Let's start with our armor slots, these will be VERY helpful while battling Humilias.
1. Ice Protect
2. Slow Protect
3. Compress PA (You'll get this for clearing all 15 Hard quests, incl. the Bakery Quest)
4. Divine/Power (Or a lower variant, if you don't have a Divine)
If you don't have a 4 slot armor, go get one, it shouldn't be hard to find one.
Now that we have our slots ready, it's time to choose our weapon.
What you want is a Claw, with the Serpent Air PA, and a decent Machine boost.
I'm using a CelebHadan Bite+20 with 62% Machine (You can reset on your Hadan Bite).
Now let's move on to the battle, shall we?
If you're using a mag with the Granir PB, use it as soon as the battle starts.
As soon as the PB animation ends, Humilias will be shooting his Ice laser.
Don't worry about this, just evade it, or let it hit you. It won't cause lots of damage, and you won't get frozen due to the Ice Protect. After this, do as stated below.
As soon as Humilias starts moving, you want to charge your PA, while following him as he moves. Get behind him (just walk, do not roll, or your PA will be gone). As soon as he shoots the laser, release the PA, and you will hit him 5 times, on both legs, meaning you'll get 10 hits at max with a single PA. (Usually good for ~1900 damage, depending on your level and weapon).
After this, he will use it's sword in a forward attack, while you're still behind him.
Take a few steps back while charging your PA, and release it as soon as Humilias strikes with his sword. This will usually make him flinch (He will be sitting on 1 knee). This is just an extra bonus, as you can charge your PA, and hit him again before he gets up, and you have a chance of hitting his head/back aswell, making it even more than 10 hits.
After doing this for 3-5 times, he will split up.
I don't have a real strategy for this, sadly.
What I'm doing is getting as far away from both parts as possible, and before they combine as one again, one of them will shoot 2 times, where only 1 or none will hit you (just heal when he's transforming back to Humilias).
Now that he's Humilias again, repeat the process 2-3 times, and he should be down, depending on the damage you inflict.
Just practise this for a while, and you'll find Humilias one of the easiest bosses in the game. Defenses aren't a problem, as you'll only get hit 2-3 times in total when doing everything right.
Well, I wish you the best of luck, and don't forget to let me know if it helped anything.
Also, if you still can't beat him, let me know what's going wrong using this tactic, and I'll try to help you.
