This is really discouraging.. rare weapons don't mean anything if they drop really often.

Don't worry, for the most part these aren't the rare rares that are dropping, just your garden variety rares. Theres plenty of rare rares in this game that take a ton of runs to find, or a ton of effort to obtain.
