Although I must say, in terms of being a female pop star you don't need to be an actual singer... Britney Spears, Madonna, Ke$ha, JLO, Rihanna, etc. But you need stage presence, have some sort of fashion icon status, and some sort of creative outlet. When I say creative outlet, I mean either strong vocals (Whitney Houston, Mariah, Celine Dion, Beyonce, and even Lady Gaga), or being a dancer (Madonna, Britney, Beyonce), or producing skills (Lady Gaga, Ke$ha), or write your own songs (Mariah Carey, sometimes Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Katy Perry) .

The song is horrible and only proves that autotune overuse has ruined music by allowing way too many people to pretend to sing.


But at the same time it isn't so bad, because apparently this single is only for charity purposes and she doesn't plan to release an album of such horrible music on the populace. Apparently part of the profit is going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
So it's a far better situation than say, talentless idiots like Ke$ha who actually put out entire albums and make money churning out their poor excuse for music, hopefully no Kardashian ever does that.
