GM allows you to output constant damage in scenarios that would kill you otherwise. I think it's pretentious of people to count it out just because it doesn't have magic sparkly damage bonuses on it.

Yes, with GM you can constantly dps through attacks but really, there are plently of scenarios where you can hug/dps without getting hit at all.

Yep, which is why I switch in between GM and Heretically.

GM to get PK back up and Heretically for the kill.

raw luck is all you have if you're not a premium user. Point is you can DPS without having to worry about being hit. No kiting, no flipping, no anything. Just spam your PAs at close range and win.

Similarly you can jump into the middle of a group and spam your AoEs without worrying about dying. That's a pretty big deal.

GM is best when you can't avoid all damage, like against an aggressive boss with adds. Or if you just want free heals while dealing damage, since time taken to drink a consumable is a DPS drop.

If it's 1v1 on a boss with easy patterns, ZRA latent and MT is best.

If you're mobbing, or fighting an agile boss at a distance, JA or PK latent is the best with long range PAs.

It's worth noting that getting hit reduces your gear. Even if you are using Guld Milla, you should be trying to avoid what you can anyway.

I think it's best to avoid attacks that would normally knock you down as they will bring your gear to 0. smaller hits aren't worth stressing over as most PAs will fill it back up very quickly.
