MST is your technique power statistic.
The higher your MST, the more effective some of your spells will be. This is the primary statistic for forces and determines how powerful a cane, rod, or wand you can wield. This statistic is affected by your MAG's MIND level, gaining two points for every point your MAG has.

Using a mind material will raise this statistic by two points, as well as raising your max TP by two points.
