HUnewearl: (AKA: The Purple Hunter Chick)

Choosing a character class was a long and researched effort for me. Please remember that is my opinion only, you should play whatever is going to be fun for you.

The best reason to play HUnewearl: Flexibility. Being the "jack of all trades" HUnewearl has the speed to be a fierce melee creature. She dishes out loads of damage that does not make you feel or look like "the weak hunter".

The rangers still envy the damage you deal out and the hunters feel that they have an ally to get dirty and take the hits while cleaning the room. The force characters feel a bit safer knowing that you can heal yourself and be the backup for a while if the force char runs out of fluid.

HUnewearl is a great balance in PSO. IMHO she allows you to fully experience all aspects of the game without having to create several characters to "try out" guns/spells/melee. You get it all in one package and can switch between modes at your leisure.

As far as gameplay is concerned I feel that the hunter class is more interactive than the others.

Rangers and Force try to find a safe corner and zot enemies from afar fleeing if encroached by a spawned baddie. I found myself just "clicking" somewhat boring like other online games. To immerse yourself. To slash and move to avoid that baddie that is trying to encircle you for pummeling a-plenty. To circle your prey while the rangers and force kill with attacks that can now target all of the squeezed victims. This is playing the game!

It's nice not worrying that you don't have enough hp to survive a hit from a boss. It's comforting to know you can wield most of the really rare items if you are lucky enough to find them. Being able to cast spells is much more convenient than seeing traps. You can carry fewer items (like telepipe) which allows you to carry more loot before having to port out and sell.

The only downside to HUnewearl is being hit-on by everyone and their brother :P
