It was either a Badira or a Golmoro. I wasn't really paying attention since they were both together.

An area drop means ANY kind of enemy can drop it. There just happens to be a lot of Badiras and Golmoros in SW so obviously those will get the most poll results.

Your friend happened to get all his P-Wands from Golmoros. That's like if someone played the casino roulette for only one day and black came up five times in a row and they assumed that meant black was more common than red. People see what they want to see, I guess.
