I'll keep this brief, now I know many of you (like myself) enjoy role playing with their PSZ character. And I know it's not very easy to display your character's creative back story (other than the complex drawings you asked your artisticly inclined friends to draw for you) (lol thanks R.S.-IJX) in a game that offers little comunication.

SO HERE IS YOUR CHANCE!
Everyone is welcome to post, no matter how silly or rediculous it may be. You can be as detailed as you want with: Birth place, favorite foods, killing art forms, forte into sports, likes and dislikes. Or simply leave your character a mystery... oooo.
The best part is, it can all be made up, like your favorite sport could be curling... Oh wait... Well you know what I mean.

Mine are all just based on my old PSO characters, most of which have been sucked out of my long-abandoned fan-works and into my original ones, I doubt any of you would want to hear about all that anyway, though, so I'll keep it short.

My RAcaseal, Quarrel was named around the crossbow-like appearance of PSO shots, and took to Guntecher in PSU, which had a variety of bow-type weapons to choose from (by which I mean it had two), befitting her name. Unfortunately, shotguns, bows and crossbows are all absent from PSZ.

Ria was my original main in PSO until I took to RAcaseal over HUney, but reclaimed her role in PSU, and is starting to steal the spotlight in PSZ a little, since HU is fun to play. Her character was just a rookie hunter with a short temper to match her stature, rash and impulsive, but a capable enough fighter to keep herself from being killed, though not out of trouble.

My FOmarl is the youngest of the three (in terms of how long the character's existed, not her age), and began as a RAmarl back in PSO, her name was Cola back then, but I eventually renamed her to Colabelle. To be honest, I was gonna roll FOmar (I wanted a human FO to go with my HUney and RAcaseal, so that I could cover all the races and classes), but I was playing in the character creation and noticed I could make a FOmarl that looked a lot like how I had made her in PSU, so I went with it. Due to that she's the least similar in character to her class, since in story I'm writing with her she's a gunner (specifically, she uses a musket), although she does have some degree of skill with magic.

I'll leave it at that, since no one probably cares to hear more anyway.

actually i think they put the shotgun part into gunblades as the shot spreads. Sorry my fellow rangers, u got douched over >.>

anyway, SD-61R was a name i gave to my frozen sniper on PSO which was my favorite character. 61 being my favorite number and R standing for ranger. The SD originally stood for SLOW DOWN because of his supportive role in messing w/ enemies from afar. Now, the name doesnt really stand for much and since the game lacks unique weapons such as the frozen shooter i dont really like my RaCast as much. He will always be the color blue but his name will not be so permanent.

Scissors61 was a inside joke from metal gear solid 2 from the random chaotic messages the arsenal gear kept sending you at the end of the game.
"I need scissors. 61!"
when i saw the HuCast had a helmet similar to the hayabusa helm from halo3 i decided to name it after my common usename.

Gunblades feel more like the PSU saber/crossbow combo than it does a shotgun though.

KYUSEKKI: A Newman hunter over two centuries old cryogenically frozen after he defeated Dark Falz only to be awakened when the Dark Force returned. Now awakened by the Newman resistance to covertly infiltrate Mother Trinitys attack forces he must train again to awaken his latent abilities. ( I just made this up on the spot does anyone really know why we are 200 years old in this game? )

Meh. I'm not as emotionally attached to my PSZ toons so they don't have a big backstory like my PSO and PSU chars did, but their names are kinda interesting:

Fye Vehf: Named after the Pop'n Music & beatmaniaIIDX song ƒƒƒƒƒ. Fye Vehf = FyeV ehf = five eff = ƒƒƒƒƒ. And five eff is easier to say than fortississississimo.

Eva Leste: She's my experimental dodge tank since PSZ just displays "miss" on a block instead of locking you in a block animation. Eva is short for evade and Leste is French for agile.. or so Google translate tells me...

Sanmitsu mk3: Because PSZ tracks what story missions you've done and Casts have their own story path, I made this guy just to run through the normal story for completion's sake. I have no intention on taking him to lv.100 like Fye and Eva. Anyhow, he's my third character so san & mitsu are two ways to say 3 in Japanese.

My HUcast is named Xanto because he has a predominantly yellow color scheme. That is all.

Born into an age of lawlessness, Vidarr was the name he took upon re-activation. Name of a Norse God, a god o' vengeance.

Paycheck's all that matters, well, all that matters until that night when its spent on high grade ethanol and only the highest paying CAST escort services. But that's only temporary. He spends his idle time well away from Dairon and it's optimistic wimps.

The only friend he has is his bottle of motor oil and his H44 Missouri. The cries of pain from the wounds he inflicts are indistinguishable, be it man or...hostile.


Honestly, I couldnt care less though, fan-fiction's never been my game, and I just wish that the story in PSZ actually let you make an antihero, or at least let you join Reve's cause early on. Oh well. I'll stick to writing and drawing my own stories.

My Character Neu X-7 is like the New model of my original character BA X-7...BA was Boon's Army on the xbox PSO...Neu I think is german for New so it fit perfectly. I came up with the name before I got the game. I also named my PSP character just X-6 because it was a way of showing how bad I wanted to play the DS version lol
