Is it just me or do multiplayer and online seem to have alot of lag?

We had a 56k connection during the pso days and we rarely had any issues with lagging.

Or perhaps Capcom looked at PSO and saw how crappy the damage cancel was that came along with synching enemies and chose to not take that path.

There was plenty of lag on the Dreamcast. You even had people with modems complaing how people with BBAs were "stealing their bandwith."

Only issue I'm seeing here is with Bogga Robado. Unless it becomes just that more badass since you aren't even touching the enemies.

And Ikk Hikk would make tons more sense as well.

They really should bring back the Brave Knuckle, Angry Fist, and God Hand for PSP2i.
Or PSO2. (Who knows which direction they are going to take with that one?)

Anyone know if it's based on the host's connection or not?

I'm pretty sure the host has the most impact on lag. The closer geographically you are to the host, the better your connection is going to be.

I've only had a single game in which the lag was an issue, and the connection dropped before long anyway.
