I'd personally wait. Not only that, you really don't get much gain on extending Ancient Quartz, +38ATK, +35ACC
It's a sword. It sucks by default.

well it becomes the third strongest double saber when extended. thats one of the reasons i want to extend it....

1) My mistake, it's a double saber. Played JP version, don't know all the US version names.
2) Don't extend it. 9% is bad.
3) If you want stun lvl 2, get hyakkawhatever. More DPS on everything except light enemies and more hits = more stun.
You seriously think swords are good? I can only think of 1 situation where swords might be ideal at end-game play (no c-mode or C/B/A rank missions included), and sadly blade destruction is probably better.
