Been in love with my Audio Technica ATH-A700's ever since I got them (rarely do I use my speakers on my computer now), also love my little ATH-EW9 clip-on headphones for what they can put out for their size. Probably going to look into some Sens for my next set, I've heard great things about them and the 595's/598's are pretty reasonably priced online.

I wish I could be a better connoisseur of headphones, but being completely deaf in my right ear kinda screws with that. 3D sound? Nope. Stereo? Nope. Mono only :/

Never looked to hard into high-priced audiophile headphones because of it. Mid range stuff you buy off the shelf, Skullcandy is usually the brand of choice. If I'm gonna make a point to order something though, I usually go with Creative brand sound products. Never really did any wrong by me since way back in '03. All their products have been pretty durable and long lasting for me, usually plenty affordable as well.

I really wish I could fully experience surround sound headphones, cause those just sound like they'd melt my eardrums, but alas, it is not to be. Pity to, I actually bother to get FLACs if I can.

I am not into "Computer Headphones" though I used to be.

Computers have a lot of electronics which mess with Sound Signal to Noise Ratios. I prefer a Hardware DAC bypass and then a headset to an AMP over a sound card. My friends enjoy headsets and not even a plague will have them give up on them. I like Headsets which allow you to speak into them.

I didn't know you could be a headphone "fan". Well, I just have some shitty earbuds I use to listen to music. I don't need that fancy crap; I can hear my songs just fine.

I only use Apple headphones. They are the only headphones that I have found that will last under the extreme usage and beating that I'm known for.

I'm no expert by any means, but I like to own quality headphones without emptying my wallet in the process, so I do a little research on the ones that I buy (customer reviews, etc.). I recently bought some headphones by Coby (cv215) and they came with a second pair for free. They have a good quality sound and I paid less than 20 dollars for them. I'm a big fan of Bose audio and I want to get a pair of them, but that might take a while.
