can you not see your own stuff in shops if you use the item serch?

When I've put items at lower prices than the others in the shop, I was never able to find it when searching for the item. It would seem to be reasonable to assume that your own results won't show up in the list, because you're not going to be buying something from yourself.
are you on ship 2? if so could you check to see if there thanks anyway if you are not
Your own items do not show up in shop searches. However if you have a shop counter room goods item, you can use that to view your shop and check your exact prices.
