3 al rappies

ok so i start ep. 1 on hard mode, and even before i fight the dragon, i find 3 al rappys which dropped 2 maces of adaman and 1 legendary handgun( cant remember the name). does that happen often?

Hot diggity, nice. The odds for each one was 1/128, and the odds for each drop were probably 7/8. Very nice!

What are you, a PSO detective?!
My guess is that the Al Rappies dropped the Maces, and that the Varista was actually from another enemy. Now what? Gonna point out that the 1/128 is incorrect too?!

I'm too used to PSO2 where enemies drop multiple rares to get your hopes up and then dash them.

Keep trying. You are almost there.
The going wisdom is that all rare enemies have a 1/512 chance of appearing.
- Who knows what they are doing on all these non-Sega servers nowadays. But offline it is 1/512, on Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Ultimate.

No, you're mistaken. It may have been a Barbarous Wolf close by where you saw your Al Rappy. Only on Yellowboze do Al Rappies drop your Mace. That's why I guessed your gun was a Varista. But on no Section ID does an Al Rappy drop a Varista.
Which version are you playing, and are you online? Again, I guess that any remaining servers could play around with the drops and appearance rate. It's a bit far fetched to assume anyone went to the trouble to give Al Rappies different Rare item drops. The most likely option is that you were mistaken, or are misremembering things.
